Bobby, I think in years when they have a good mast crop they tend to drop their antlers later. Not sure where I heard this, but it came from somewhere.

Just saw a roadkilled deer not far from my house, it was a buck as it still had a full rack on him. Anyone else ever see deer with antlers this late? I saw one in Ohio co a few years back in april the had a full had rack but it was also very messed up looking, but the one I saw today appeared normal. I live in Barren co and this deer was in the city limits of Glasgow. Just looks weird that it still has a rack.![]()

No problem Bobby, not sure if that is the entire answer or not. Might get MHall to chime in, he is an avid shed hunter so I am sure he has some thoughts on this.

I saw one still packing here at my place in Feb,haven't saw any since though.
