Try Triple Fish flouro, if you can find it (http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Tripl...page-TFFL.html ) . It's usually half the price of others and I liked it.

I have used fluorocarbon and like it for some applications but the stuff is so expensive. I'm using hybrid as a compromise but would like to have a rod or two rigged with 100% fluoro. Anybody have a source of fluoro that is priced where the working man can afford it? Coupons, close-outs, promotions, whatever. Just looking around on the web has not resulted in saving more than a dollar or two.
Thanks in advance!

Red Label would be my recommendation too. Also Berkley Vanish.
Another vote for the Seaguar Red Label. Good line for a great price. Been using it for the past two years and love it.
A little tip for ya "jwp" if you did'nt already realize it is flourocarbon does'nt need to be re-spooled as often as other lines.Lots of times a spool will last me most of the spring/early summer until I start night fishing.I keep line conditioner on it regular an it lasts for a long time. You get what ya pay for in cheaper line in my opinion.
Check Mitre 10 Catalogue and Officeworks Catalogue.
The new Vicious Elite is one of the best fluorocarbon lines I have tried. Also very reasonably priced. Especially for what you are getting. Tacklewarehouse sales it in bulk.

vanish is total junk
For those of you who use the Seaguar Red Label, how is the abrasion resistance? My son tells me he has tried it and thought it was lacking in that area.
I like the Vicious flouro as well.
I tried the Vicious brand and wasn't impressed at all. Abrasion resistance an knot strength isn't much. One thing that I can say about the Vicious line though is it is a great casting line but I'll stay with the tried and true Trilene 100% Flouro. It hold knots and is abrasion resistance and also cast well.
