Water level was good this past Saturday even with it raining on us all day. It was a warm rain. I don't know what kind of temp we had though. Clarity was good too. You might want to check wood near the bank, the tightest cover you can find.

will do ... guess start out pitchin around tight cover and go from there
only fished there a few times. normal spots seem to be the tree line which the railroad tracks run by and the sucken bridge, correct?
sadly this will be my first time out this season so we will see how quick the rust comes off
Don't worry the rust will fly off ya while all the boats fly by you ha ha, good luck post how you do thinking of going Sunday!
Good luck to you! I'm thinking of hitting Willisburg maybe this Monday if I can get my Dad to go with me.
My advice is to not go to Cedar on a weekend, but that's probably not what you want to hear....
Ditto on what Know1 said. I gave that place up on weekends a long time ago. What a zoo!!!
It's even a zoo on weekdays. I went one day last week and pulled into a small cove area. There were about 7-8 boats in there.
The parking lot at this particular ramp had close to 30 trailers in it.
This was on a Thursday morning.
Pack a huge amout of.................................''PATIENCE'' Boats, Boats and more Boats
I've never been to Cedar Creek but am thinking about trying it in the morning. If I read it correctly, there are 3 launch sites on the lake. Are those access points marked or listed on an online map? Not really certain yet even how to get to the lake other than head down 27 from Lexington. haha...just kinda flying by the seat of my pants. Any directions or advice on getting to the lake would be appreciated.
yeah go south on 27 then take a left on 150 not far after you pass the walmart there in lincoln co. its a few miles down and you can get to the ramp at the dam from there you will pass the lake on 150 and the turn off is on your right just after you go over the dam. you can get to another ramp by turning right on 1770 just a few miles after you turn on to 150. that will take you straight to the lake.
that place is a zoo. went there today and there were a TON of boats there. each of thge 3 parking lots were pretty much full. we ran back by the bridge and stopped counting at 30 boats for that small area. the bite for me seemed a little slow. caught 1 little dinker early and about 30 min later caught one that went 5-7 and 21". if i knew how to post pics i would put it on here. those were the only 2 bites i had on the day
you all got me all nervous ... haha, ill try and tuff it out and report back
