I've noticed that all the network news channels are now spelling it Usama.
Was Osama too close in spelling to Obama that we might get confused about who got killed?

They all sound the same to me, Obama, Osama, Raheeb, Fabeeb, Akhmed Flem............
The media changed it to Osama back when his name first made headlines - they thought that such an evil person with a name that began with "USA" would be inappropriate, so they went with the Osama alternate.
Fox News was the only one calling him Usama, along with the FBI, and the federal government.
I refer to him as the latest DEAD Terrorist........
If you want to get technical, they are both correct. There is no one definite translation for that name so they are both correct. Another example of this is Mohamar Quadaffi. There are over 100 combinations on how to spell his first and last name.
Another person's name that would make the world a better place if it was spelled GONE!
Do they both sink at the same rate?
