I've said many times I do not think she is Presidential material. I have no idea why you would say she is fake, what are you basing that on???? I would take Palin anyday over that frickin Moron we have in office right now, he's the WORST PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY TIMES THREE.
Gingrich would make an awesome president, really he was President during the Clinton administration if you really analize it. Jan Brewer has balls, I'd vote for her in a bird dog second. Romney is alright but he does not Wow me at all.

I watched her "Reality Show" which is why i say she is fake. She is supposed to be Caribou Barbie and didn't even know how to handle a rifle! Fake is fake, its what you call it when someone tries to be something their not. It is the same as Obama saying he is not anti gun!

I agree a little with you there.........she never professed to be an expert though......just that she had been hunting/fishing, etc, etc. I did take issue with some of her skills with a rifle....but that doesn't mean by ANY STRETCH that she is fake.

Her Dad fell with that rifle knocking the scope off. He admitted later it was his fault. Once they handed her a weapon that was on she made stew meat with that little Caribou, come'on Tim, you ever missed before? She isn't Ted Nugent but she isn't green either...

OK.......I read stories about Draft Dodging....yea, maybe........

And I also read the stories about baiting from bambi......yea, definitely, and BTW....he took responsibility for it and paid the fines. ALSO, he was hunting in California, which has some of the worse Anti Hunting, ANTI Fishing laws in the country. I believe Nugent cares more about game rules and laws than most on this site......

Come up with something better.

Well best I can tell ol uncle Ted didn't want to go to Vietnam so he allegedly showed up without taking a bath or using the restroom facilities anywhere but on himself. Now this sounds ridiculous, but I don't know if it is 100% correct. Snopes has nothing either way, but if you do a google search you will find a few articles about it. I do know he didn't go to Vietnam, but was given a student deferment. Funny things is, he was touring with his band according to everything I have been able to find, so not sure what "School" he was going to.

The wildlife violations were in the last few years. You see, uncle Ted loves to hunt and professes respect for the game he hunts, conservation and responsible use of the resource. The problem is, he mostly hunts penned animals on his ranches in Michigan and Texas and hunts them over bait. He believes there is nothing wrong with hunting over bait and evidently believes laws aginst baiting are of the devil and he doesn't have to follow those laws. Final word on it.....how about you post something with regards to the merits of the article, instead of trying to change the subject. Of course most folks who are on the opposite side try to deflect instead of TAKING on the issue.

First, I was busy looking up the links for you, but while I was doing that you were busy editing your post ten minutes later. Look at the timeline and do the math.

Secondly, you asked me to tell you about Ted Nugent and I did just that. Now did you want me to tell you or not? You are right it is a common tactic, you employ it quite often. For example, someone criticizes Palin, you then start spouting off about Obama, Pelosi, Reid Clinton and everybody else. You see, you are accusing me of doing something that YOU ARE ACTUALLY GUILTY OF!

I went back and carefully reread what I posted.

First......I used examples to justify what I was saying. I didn't deflect or redirect anything.....In the first example,

Palin had a gaff........Obama has gaffs, Biden is a WALKING GAFF, Bush.......well there are tons of books on putting his foot in his mouth. Edwards.......he's going to prison.


it was in context to Gaffs made by those in politics. Yea I named names, but it was to compare/contrast WHO made bigger gaffs. I guess you didn't see this??

In the second:

I personally believe she'd do just fine.

Much better than Edwards, much better than Biden, much better than the current Obama, maybe not as good as H. Clinton, probably better than Bush 2, much better than Kerry, much better than.............well QUITE a FEW.

Who said I know anything about fishing? LOL I do a lot of it, but I am not sure I know a lot about it. True story. A few weeks ago at a local store here in Sheeptown, I was in line and there was a guy looking at a certain outdoor magazine that is for sale there. He is asking the clerk some questions, the clerk points me out and tells the guy who I am. This led to a half hour discussion that ranged from high water levels, fishing at night, live and cut bait for catfish and then moved to KDFWR, black helicopters, rattlesnakes, mt. Lions and coyotes. The conversation steered back to fishing. The guy asked me some question about an obscure bait that I had never heard of. He then states "Well, I figure you knew all about it, you are the fishing expert" to which I replied "Sir, I am just a writer!"
I can only guess what went through his mind afterward!
