    Switching Brands

I have always liked Shimano reels, my bait casters have always performed very well for me but I haven't had as good of luck with my spinning reels. So I bought a new spinning reel and this time went with a Pflueger Supreme xt. Who else uses the Pflueger reels and how do you like them compared to other brands?

I have the Pflueger "Arbor" it a extra large spool, witch I like very much, the line doesn't coil as with a smaller spool.........JMO

I have the President models, one sitting on a Abu Veritas and the other on a BPS model. Love the action of the Pleuger reel and the Veritas ml rod makes it a great combination. Cant go wrong with the nice reel that you bought.

Pflueger makes a good spinning reel, you will be happy with it. I fish 90% of the time with spinning reels crappie fishing, and I have grown to love Okuma. I have a few that have taken a beating and still other than the looks, function like a brand new reel.

I think it's safe to say the more you pay the better quaility you get with any brand reel you choose.I learned that through trial an ERROR myself. In my opinion Shimano Saros for around $130 is a sound buy on the low end an Shimano just gets better from there on up.Below the Saros take your chances.Just my opinion...........

I will agree with that 100 percent.
