    Kyle Bush

Certainly NOT one of my favorite drivers but the guy can flat get it done without wining. While Jeff Gordon, Dale Jr. J Johnson and some others cried like teenage school girls and repeatedly thru that track under the bus, Bush kicked their butt. Not only did he win the truck race and the QS 400 he said good things about the track and the people of Kentucky. I thought Jeff Gordon was gonna break out in tears over the bumpy track, but I've always thought of him as a girly boy anyway. I was surprised to see Dale Jr busting on the track though, of course he hasn't won a race in 10 years so I guess it's automatic to start the excuses well before race time.

I knew that either Kyle Busch or Carl Edwards would win it. Both run well on that track.

I think I was the only one cheering for Kyle! He reminds me a lot of Darrell Waltrip back in the day when everyone booed him too.

I had a great time at the track this weekend too! I was one of the few smart people that left early and got in there pretty quick

I can't stand Kyle Bush, but the boy can drive the wheels off a race car. I didn't hear about the drivers crying about the track. What was there problem with it?

My dad took his fifth wheel down on Tuesday and we all arrived Thursday night for the truck race. No problem for us at all, but all of us have been to a number of races in the last 30 years. Yep we were going to NASCAr races before it was actually cool!

Not a fan of either Kurt or Kyle but they get respect from me on their driving ability. When Kyle is on his only competition is himself he has a long way to go to be in the same class as Johnson, Gordon or Dale senior but he sure seems to be on his way.

Dale Jr. is the MOST OVER-RATED NASCAR DRIVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD!!!! For as much Hype as he gets, 3 wins since the beginning of 2005 which covers over 200 races. Not sure who is hyped more, JR or Danica Patrick. I know I will get absolutely KILLED by all the NASCAR veterans here but for the casual observer, you would think as much as JR is mentioned he would be the 17 time defending champion. I know he started his career with several victories in the first few seasons but 3 for 200 is not really knocking them dead and CERTAINLY not in proportion to all the talk about him.

They were saying it was to bumpy, Jeff Gordon said it was just so frustrating and the whole track needed to be re-paved because it was horrible. J Johnson, Dale Jr and some others were wining about it to. Bush said it was a great track with character. He also said the fans were awesome and his Toyota was awesome and was built right there in Kentucky. I gotta admit he praised Ky bigtime, I'll give him alot of credit for that. The boy can flat out drive, make no mistake. I have to say after all the crying and bitchin, he kinda won me over a LITTLE bit, he just flat got it done. He started dead last Friday night in the truck race and won that, then won Saturday to, Helluva driver.

I liked NASCAR before it was "cool" too. Seems to be the way it goes with me, I like certain things but when they get popular and become commercialized then I tend to be done with it. I'm not done with NASCAR, but just like with everything else on television I don't keep up with it very much although I do try to watch the Daytona 500 every year.

As for the whining and crying...(whaaaaa, this track is to bumpy, whaaaaa!!), all I can say is get over it boys. Back in the day, WAY back in the day where the sport began on dirt tracks and back roads running moonshine and out running the law, there was plenty of bumpy roads. All that whining and crying makes me think you all are over compensated, lol...

I'm not sure which driver was quoted as saying it but one of them made mention that the bumpiness is what makes Kentucky Speedway the track it is. If every track were the same then where would the fun and challenge be in that?

GASP!! A Toyota won? Can't be to happy about that regardless of where it's made.

Woodrow I like the guy but lets face it without his Daddy's name he is nobody. I'm sorry the truth hurts sometimes, he is a slightly less than average at best driver and I might be giving him too much credit. So in short, yea you are right.

Agreed. Jr. inherited his dad's fan whether he wanted them or not.

Jr. needs to get out of the Hendrick camp. He doesn't fit in with that bunch. Jr. probably should even take a year off to focus on his life and what he really wants to do....I don't think he's having fun with it any more, which is affecting his performance dramatically.

I would really like to see Dale Jr. move over to Michael Waltrip racing. Dale and Michael have always had a good relationship since their time spent at DEI, and I feel like that's what's missing. Dale would probably have more fun at MWR, and have better performances on the track than he does now as a result. MWR is putting out strong cars and continues to work its way up in the racing world. Watching how strong David Reutimann was this past weekend was great to see, and I believe if Jr. was on the team he would have been right there with him, maybe even leading the race.

Like it or not, Toyota helps pay for the roads that you drive on each day here in Kentucky. The tax money they pump into this state should override any mixed emotions you have about a Toyota winning a race. Toyota is built by Kentuckians, Americans who work hard for a living. Trying to degrade their product is an insult to them, and an insult to the USA...sorry but Toyota bashing is unpatriotic.
