36 lb striper on july 2 cumberland river, photographed, weighed, measured and released.
3 lb 10 oz crappie march 13 cumberland, at the taxidermist as we speak, not the worlds biggest crappie i know, but my biggest.
2 largemouth within 30 minutes of each other one 6 lb 5 oz and one 7 lb even march 22 (same day as big spot) cumberland, both weighed, measured , photgraphed and released.
missus stripernut has one at the taxidermist as we speak ; a 5 lb 2 oz spot caught week before last.
i need a second job to pay the taxidermist off !lol
Describe what your boat looks like.
My biggest was a 6.8 largemouth on Barren.
Biggest smallmouth 2.11 Barren
Biggest hybrid 11 Barren.
Biggest Smallie- 5lbs at a Pond in Maine
Biggest Largemouth- 6lbs and change at Lake E (Lexington)
burgundy/silver crestliner, with a great big front deck, plenty of room for a partner ( if missus stripernut is working ) ,"2 things i aint; selfish or skinny"lol
A 5.3lb and 5.1lb largeheads out of private 27 acre lake. Too many 4lbs plus to mention from various locations, some largeheads and some smallmouth.
I have fished less this year than any year I can remember in recent past. I haven't even fished the river once this year, it makes me very sad...![]()

As many have said, it has been a good year. I have had three good fish this year. A 8.6 LM for Lake Gunterville in Feburary. A 8.0 on March 1st on Kentucky Lake. And a 7.3 in the March BFL on Kentucky Lake. (She was the big fish of the tourney) I have had over 15 SM over 4.5+ this year. (all came from Lake St. Clair in June) Hope the Fall is as good to me.
Biggest so far this year is a 5-03 Largemouth from Lake Wheeler in Late March on a berkley frenzy crankbait (only fish ever caught on this bait). Going to ky lake in early november.....hope they are still biting!
i hate those SOB's they never run true. it never fails i catch one fish on them and they are runnin way left or way right.
Were you fishing a tourny at Guntersville? What was your lure of choise (was it something RED)?As many have said, it has been a good year. I have had three good fish this year. Uk Bass
I wish that I was fishing a tournament that day. I was the best day that I have had in many of year. My best five that day was a little over 25lbs. I caught her on a purple hase trick worm on a shakey head jig. The 7.3 was caught on a 7" watermelon red Senko, again on a shakey head jig in 20ft. of water. This was caught in a BFL tournament. All my SM's were caught on a purple 4" tube with a rattle. The water was crystal clear and you could see them strike the tube.
