As always Tim, you live in the ( PAST )......I'm talkin bout now....the future.....

Indiana's Team ***** like they do almost every year...But wait let me go back in the past and bring up a very good point....Indiana won the Rose Bowl while being in the Big Ten....Can u say that about your beloved Cards? The Rose Bowl I tell ya...The Grand Daddy of them all , prior to the new BCS system being set up.....But hey that was years ago...the Past....

Get outta the past and think now....And no i don't think U of L would be able to any better than maybe about half way up the ladder in the standings if they got into the Big 12. Hell even Kansas had a remarkable year in Football couple years back, but they are like Indiana..**** in football 99% of the time in football.....

And for the record...I could tell you anything you or anyone else needed to know about the Military and explain anything about the the repair and operation of a Train car and the air brake system on a train.

Mills, you really struggle with this whole hatred for Louisville thing don't you? I am not living in the past Clyde, I was talking clearly about the future. You lost the whole thing because you failed to disprove any of my points. I even numbered them so that maybe you could address them individually. Instead, you ignored these points and want on a rant about IU and the Rose Bowl.

If I ever have any questions about the military Clyde, I will make sure to seek you out. As far as trains, my best friend that I have been hunting and fishing with since we were kids and our sons play high school football together, that is the guy I will ask about trains, he drives one every day for CSX.

Btw Clyde, now ain't the future, the future is what is to come.

We have won a BCS bowl, and been to many other bowls more prestigious than the GAYlord bowl that UK fans think is so great. But maybe you all changed your mind and thats why only 25k fans were at your opening game in Nashville.

UK haters can keep on hating, but the truth is the UofL is on the up and up and UK is not, but what else is new? Just wait for basketball season, right?..(sarcasm)

So Louisville Football has been MUCH BETTER than Kentucky??? Head to Head last 10 years, 5-5 record. Did not go back all 10 but did go back lady 5 years, to include Louisvilles 12-1 team that beat might Wake Forest in the BCS Bowl, Louisville is 34-28 in the last 5 years. Kentucky is 36-26 in the last 5 years. Talk about Kentucky playing in the Cheetos Cream Puff Bowls, don't forget Louisville playing in 3 Liberty, 2 GMAC and the traditional powerful Beef O Brady Bowl. I don't know where you define MUCH BETTER between the two schools recently. Kentucky plays in the SEC and Louisville is in the Big East. How many national titles does the Big East have in football and how many national powers are in the SEC that Kentucky plays versus the Cream Puffs in the Big East. Bottom line both programs stink, neither is better than the other and no way one is MUCH BETTER than the other over the past 10 years

Elwood, I think much of the view of Louisville fans is skewed because before the Kragthorpe mess we were seriously pulling away from UK. Before Klownthorpe took the sideline we had won 7 out of 8 and four in a row and a couple of those were blowouts.

Also in fairness to the Liberty Bowl, we beat two good teams in those games. Both BYU and Boise St. were ranked very highly. Also keep in mind that it was even harder then for a team from a non BCS conference to get a BCS bowl bid. They added a bowl to open up a spot for worthy teams not in a BCS conference.

You prove my point for me. UofL does not have the recruiting advantages that the SEC does. UofL was able to beat the likes of Boise St (ranked in the top 10) in the Liberty Bowl, and won the Orange Bowl against Wake. We didn't choose our opponent, but would have been competitive against anyone. How many BCS bowls has UK been to? 0. The year that UofL went to the Orange Bowl, the Big East had 3 of the top 5 teams in Louisville, West Virginia, and Rutgers. Talk about cream puffs. If it were not for William Gay jumping offside against Rutgers, Louisville would have been playing for the national championship that year, as well as the year that Kerry Rhodes dropped the interception against Miami/combined with a Brian Brohm coming in as a true freshman to battle the number 1 ranked team in the country. UK has never been in contention for anything besides the GAYlord bowl. Enough said.

hate to bust your bubble, but thy would not have put Louisville in the National Championship title game if you would have beat Rutgers. They would have over looked Louisville. Like Bobby Petrino said " They give you the bid iin the big east, you have to earn it in the SEC"

    Re: UK Foootball -National Championship

I don't care that UK has not been in contention for anything. Guess what, they never will either. But to say Louisville is much the better school than Kentucky over the past 10 years is an absolute JOKE. yes Louisville had a stretch where they won 4 in a row against Kentucky but I do believe that Kentucky win 4 in a row against Louisville, MORE RECENTLY. If you are going to say 10 years then consider all 10 and don't pin the argument on a 12-1 year Louisville had because you followed that up with 6-6, 5-7, 4-8, and 7-6. Don't throw out what your Coach Krapwad did because he us part of the ten years. As far as the advantage of SEC recruiting that UK has, is trumped by playing teams like Florida, South Carolina and LSU back to back to back. If you want Louisville to get the SEC recruiting advantage, then schedule SEC powerhouse teams in your non-conference and beat them over and over. As far as harder to get a BCS bowl bid, then ad Al Davis says " Just win baby". 22-25 for Louisville the past 4 years overall is pathetic, no matter the coach or circumstances. Are there way too many bowl games, ABSOLUTELY. Would Kentucky have gone to a bowl each of the last however many years in a row if there were fewer Bowl games, ABSOLUTELY NOT. Is it better to be a doormat in the SEC or mediocre in the Big East, a wash. Any way you look at it, Louisville is not far and above better than Kentucky the past 10 years. They both over the 10 years are mediocre at best

I also like how everybody keeps saying the Big East is the worst conference in football, Well their win/loss record this year against out of conference Foe's says different. Cincy won last night. The BE is more than holding their own this year.

In two years from now I say the Cards will be on the National radar scope again and teams better lace up or they will be dealt an ''L''
Out of conference against the SEC, 1-3. Lone win is UofL against Kentucky. Cincy lost to Tennessee, UCONN lost to Vandy and West Virginia lost to LSU

Are you giving up?? I don't care if UK is 3-9. I don't believe I was arguing that they would be better than 3-9. I believe the argument was that Louisville was not "Much Better" than UK the past 10 years. Based on the fact that you have given up with "talk to me after the season" you LOSE THE DEBATE!! Keep playing the weak non-conference schedule in the weaker football conference and someday you may be GIVEN a BCS bowl bid but as the other extremely smart poster (Coombro) noted, you have to EARN it in the SEC. Typical Louisville fan that I pointed out earlier, using Speculation and Might Happen to try and win a debate.
