Comparing Obama to Hitler?

Can we get a video of when he said it? I feel like its been taken out of context or spun around in a way that wasn't intended.

Hank is from the old school, and old school doesn't seem to fly in today's PC world....plus has a lot of liberal enemies, especially since he's mentioned a few times about running for senate.

This is no differnent than Actor Morgan Freeman accusing Senator Mitch McConnell of being a racist for wanting to get the present POTUS out of office after only 1 term.

Freeman came right out on national TV and done his accusation....

To be fair, Mr. McConnell did state for the record that he only wanted Mr. Bill ( Slick Willy ) Clinton to only have one term as well....

He's not a racist at all, he's a Repub. and of course he wants a Repub. in office as the POTUS.....

Mr. Freeman, u might be high and tidy with all your money from a stellar acting carrer...but this is one fan you just lost from ever watching another one of your movies....

Trying to justify a comparison is foolish........Maybe Hank Williams Jr didn't mean it, maybe he did. I don't know and I don't CARE.

I do know that comparing past, current or future presidents to the most hateful, EVIL person the world has ever known is...........simply wrong and HATEFUL.........That goes for current company and past company.......

I havent viewed the video yet or heard what he said. But when you are a celebrity like I guess he is and he is being interviewed then he just says whatever he pleases then he should be held accountable. He is paid for those interviews and that is his job. Like you said Bugsy, he probably had too much wacky tobaccy in the old days. I think he is just a spoilt rich kid himself who made it off his daddys coat sleeves. I have heard of Hank Williams but not Jr. Does he actually work or just live off of his daddys money. I think in the public eye Americans need to show theirPresident more respect.Doesnt mean they have to like him. But cheap shots like Obama and Hitler is just plain stupid. Makes no sense. He was probably stoned.

This freedom of speech is a double edged sword. Sometimes you get cut sometimes you do the cutting.
The part that should be "fair and balanced" (sorry couldn't pass that up) is take your medicine if someone gets pissed or is in the position to make you pay by getting fired or fined. Paid celebrities have a boss and so do paid athletes and news folks so they better be careful.
Politicians are the worst and get away with just about anything they want. They feel untouchable and for the most part are and that disgusts me. They work for us but have placed themselves into a category or class above the rest of us.

Agreed, no place for that kind of comparison. I am not a fan of the current POTUS but that was ridiculous. Perhaps ol Hank should take some advice from Toby Keith!

Big Gills - I can't believe you've heard of the father but not the son...I mean seriously. Seriously? Just so you know...(sit back and get a glass of Jim Beam first) he didn't make it to the top by riding on his old man's coat tails. The music industry WANTED him to be like his dad, sing his dad's songs, etc...but it wasn't working out. He didn't make the big time until he started playing music HIS way. This was back in the 70's sometime. I didn't get a true feel for what an artist he was until I saw one of his shows where he played solo on stage...solo...playing every instrument on stage that 18-wheels could haul...solo...by himself. That night he played guitar, bass guitar, upright bass, banjo, piano, fiddle, and drums. It was pretty impressive. As far as Americans showing the POTUS respect, I'm American and I ain't about to show Nobama any respect until he admits that he's in over his head. Nobama needs to fess up and admit that he himself needs a bail out. Nothing wrong with telling the truth is there? I think if Nobama would come clean with the citizens of the greatest country in the world then the citizens in turn might be willing to support him more than what they are now. We are a giving and caring people down here in the United States, if you don't believe me just ask the illegals, they'll tell ya, lol...Yea I know, pipe dream (not Willie's pipe either, lol), it ain't gonna happen.

George...as for me personally, I'm not comparing any president, past or present to the most hateful evil person the world has ever known, now am I condoning Hanks public screw up, Hank was wrong and he admitted he was wrong, water under the bridge. But when it comes to my own thoughts about Nobama I certainly fall into the wrong and hateful category. And I'll tell you something else, I'm not by myself in this thinking either, there's many folks with higher levels of education than me who have no respect for him what so ever. No one I know of wants anything bad to happen to the POTUS, and I think this goes for the general population of the United States, but I do believe most everyone has TRULY had enough of Nobama, or at least I hope so anyway. Like I said before...if a man is not doing well in his job and is clearly in over his head then he should wave the white flag and admit he NEEDS HELP! For someone, anyone, co-worker, or politician either one, to continue on as if they know what they're doing is just plain wrong. The thing is this, honesty goes a long way (everyone here knows this), but the sad thing is most politicians don't remember what honesty is.
