SHHHHH the whole shippingport island will be loaded with fisherman
i've always wanted to try for those down there is there any way you could PM me what to use and what time to fish for them?
Stripers or Strippers????????
I'm trying to decide which "rod" to take with me.
Take both...If the phish don't bite you can always go fishing
A buddy and I went up to the hydros from greenwood for the first time a couple weeks ago. Needless to say it was pretty interesting. My first mistake was anchoring to close to the wall on 50' or so away from it and the boat started going in circles around the anchor from the boils. After I cleaned my pants outi backed off the wall 100' or so out in the middle and managed to boat 1, 7-8lb striper. Lost a couple others before running out of bait and tackle (kept getting hung in the rocks). Should I have been fishing around the corner on the other side. I don't really care about where peoples spots are, my main concern is safety. Can anyone take these google pictures and use the paint program to maybe draw the route from the harrison ave ramp to the spillway and hydros and point out where the dangerous rocks, shallow areas, etc are? Thanks
