Maybe someone else had a more productive day, but I think this weekend I am either going to Patoka (I'd rather not) or Dale Hollow (3 hours away ). Plus there were a lot of floaters down by Wax. I marked some fish about 15 feet down, but I couldn't get them to bite anything. Water temp was 46-48 degrees. All this extra water makes me want to stay home. All three lakes that are close are pulling water hard. Except Patoka. I haven't figured out why they are holding the lake 5 feet over summer pool. Unless the Wabash is flooded???
If you don't mind me asking what color jig and CB were you using? I think I might try the Alabama Rig at NRL. Sounds like this might be a good time of the year to try it since I haven't ever thrown it yet. BTW, is the water level still up or has it gone down since they're pulling it pretty heavy?

thanks
