I was curious since I was always asked for ID and automatically handed them my DL. Looks like they will take other forms. Who knew??
Actually I didnt know of the forms that they will accept either and I really didnt know there were requirements. I was just saying I cant find anyone other than here that are asked for ID. Thanks for the find, always have my credit card with me.http://www.vote.ky.gov/electiondaydosanddonts.htm

I guess they never voted in Louisville or Bullitt County. When you get to your precinct to vote, before they hand you a voters slip, they ask your name, make you show your ID and then you sign the registry beside your name on a line with an X.Did my asking around today and everyone I asked was just like me. Tell your name and sign the line is all thats required. So with my poll I can assume that a few of you are not being truthful.By the way, I have voted in every election for the last 27 years and not in the same place for all of them.
What precinct you in? I might come up there and vote under your name. After all, how will the know I am not you? Not like I would have to show an ID or something. I have a hard time believing that no one you talked to has to show an ID to vote.
Hey Parker, how do you pay with a credit card? How do you buy beer or tobacco? How do you rent a car?
I am so moving to your place. MHall and DJD, I am fixing to ruin your credit and reputation because Parker lives where no ID is required.
I usually swipe my card and I have only been asked once for ID at Dicks sporting goods for that purchase. Dont drink or smoke so I wouldnt know. Its funny you mentioned a rental because I rented one last month and had to show an ID so you got me. Actually you didnt because I dont mind showing mine, just saying I dont show one to vote. You must look like you are not trustworthy to have to show an ID everywhere you go.I guess they never voted in Louisville or Bullitt County. Where do you live Parker? I think I could beat you to the polling place and vote under your name. After all, how on earth could they know I am not you? The way I see it, I don't have to prove I am you, they would have to prove I am not. Seriously, this whole idea of not proving who you say you are when voting is ignorant. If you don't see a problem with proving who you are at the polling place, then I understand why this state and country is in the shape it is!
I never said it wasnt a problem. I just know that I have never been asked for an ID to vote. Knowing this I also know that its just a political point the right is trying to make and it wont work with me. The Reagen, Bush and Bush admin had 20 years to straighten this out and my question is why wait until now to bring it up? If it wasnt a problem then why is it one now? I have no problem with congress passing a form of ID to vote and make it mandatory for every state! That isnt going to happen though is it because it never has.Where do you live Parker? Unless the cashier knows me personally, or has seen me in the store plenty of times and previously checked my ID, I would much prefer that they check an ID.I usually swipe my card and I have only been asked once for ID at Dicks sporting goods for that purchase. I also have no problem with being asked for an ID before voting. Not sure what the problem is.
Andrew
And we AGREE again.........![]()
Andrew, the problem is, Parker wants to make this a race issue, but the facts don't back him up so now he is stretching for something. it is okay though, as soon as we know who he is and where he lives, it is going to be a race to see which one of us gets to vote as him. Could you imagine showing up at the polling place and they try and tell you already voted?
Do the polls accept Visa?
This has nothing to do with what we are talking about it is not about requiring every state to require an ID it is about the fact Texas has passed the law and Holder is promoting a political agenda that this administration will not let the constitution stand in its way of trying to get Latino votes.I never said it wasnt a problem.
