Poplar Creek Lodge in Kuttawa on North Barkley

I have been staying at Poplar Creek Lodge for several years. Katie and Pete run a Class Act Lodge. For the money, you won't find a cleaner nicer place to stay ANYWHERE around Ky and Barkley. If you are fishing North Barkley, the ramp to Poplar Creek is a mile away and Kuttawa is a couple of miles away. Hardwood floors, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and you can back your boat right up to your front door. I have never found a hair or bug in the room. Woody turned me onto Poplar Creek a few years ago, and I will not stay anywhere else.......not until I buy my place down there
