Fished one of the 14" lakes yesterday from 4-8pm. Found a lot of fish holding in scattered weeds in 3-6ft of water. Caught most the fish over the submergent weeds with only a few coming from the shallower grass on the surface. Didn't catch any big ones but had around 10 keepers going 14-17" and a few shorts. Water temps were in the low 80s already
Edit- did catch one nice bass yesterday morning but not at bluegrass

Nice report. Thanks. Good looking bass and thanks for the pic.
Moveon, you have a pm
Nice, i went to otter yesterday, only caught a couple. too hung over to stay out in the sun lol
I stayed home Sunday until around 7 pm and then went over to check out all three pits to see if anyone was fishing. There was only two boat trailers in the parking lot at BG pit N Ramp. There was/were only a few boats at Loon Pit's N ramp. Saw no boats at the S end of Loon but Otter pit had a boat trailer parked in the lot.
Only talked to one guy and he said he just got there a little while ago and he was already leaving. He went out on the lake and left his truck headlights on. Good thing he came back before his battery went dead.
I left my boat at home Sunday. Saturday I had to help my parent by buying and installed new wheels on her lawn mower. Snappers come with plastic wheels that wear out in a few years near wheels hub which makes them wobble a lot. I drove way out on Hwy 65 past New Harmony Road to Staubs only to find out that they are not a Snapper dealer. They wanted $40 for two front tires and I ended up going to Powers on Franklin Street and getting the same thing for $30. Ended up trimming some bushes that were too big and too close to the garage. Didn't have the right tools at the time in my truck. I needed a 11/16" socket (deep) so went to Lowes and bought some metric and SAE sockets for the tool box. Ended up getting a new 3/8" socket driver wrench as well to complete the set. You can't do much without the right tools.
It's cloudy today (Monday). I may go fishing if it's not raining or too windy.
Hope to be hittin BG soon. I'm a little over due.
Great report and pic.
