i am using b.p.s. Excel mono and p-line now. I've used stren and trilene, i've never really noticed a
difference. Maybe sten glows a lighter "bluer", but the p-line and b.p.s. Both seem to work fine..tr

I like Berkley Trilene Big Cat line. It shows up great under black light. A bright neon green. The other lines are kind of a blueish color. I wish they made a florecent florocarbon line. But you can't have everything.

Stren makes their 100% flouro in clear blue flourescent now. Its hard to find but i just spooled my reels with it a few weeks ago. It glows just as well as their mono. Its great stuff.

Kvd line conditioner or vicious line conditioner they are basically the same thing. I soak my spools of flouro with this and it works wonders. I havent found a flouro yet that isnt stiff or doesnt coil to some extent. But this stuff is a good investment if you like having the advantages of flourocarbon line about $8 a bottle and you can treat several spools.

Don't know how "expert" this is .... but, if you want the brightest line under a blacklight > get Stren Gold in whatever lb test you use. It'll look very similar to "lit up" yellow SKI ROPE, under a blacklight !!! LOL !!

Personally, I use BPS Excel ... and under my BPS &/or Sloan light ... it's visible enough for even these old eyes. The darker the night, or bank you're on, the better they show up. A fishing partner of mine used Stren Gold, on a trip to Cave Run (years ago), and it was so bright that it gave me a mild headache .... LOL !!

I agree that the stren fluorescent fluoro coils up pretty bad. However, it got better after I stretched it out and put Reel Magic on it.
