I just learned this morning that my cousin's son was killed in Afghanistan after less than a month of deployment.
Our entire family was so proud of Chase attending West Point. He was a fine young man and son.
The one thing another cousin told me this morning was that her first thought was of departed Uncles and parents, grandparents, etc that greeted Chase on his arrival to the hereafter.
Sad day here.

Sorry for your families loss. A salute to the young man, all respect to him and his family.
Even with things winding down, the world and hot spots around the world are VERY DANGEROUS.
Tell his family that I THANK him for his service.
What an honor to be a West Point Graduate I am sure he was a fine young man. I thank you for his service and I will keep all of you in my prayers.
God Bless America and all those that have served or that are serving.

That picture made me tear up...not even gonna lie...
Very sorry to hear about the young man, who was obviously as fine as they come.
Many thanks to him for the sacrifice he made for me, my wife, my little baby girl, and all of us.
God Bless him.
Tyme,
Deepest regrets for your family's loss. From reading the article and seeing the picture it's clear he was one of America's finest. I hope the family's sorrow is softened knowing he served with distinction and valor. May you and your family find peace of mind knowing he served with dignity to defend us all. As a grateful citizen, I mourn your loss.
Best regards and press forward as you know he would have wanted you all to do! Soldiers never die in the memories of a grateful nation.
Deepest sympathies,
Bob
