    WOW.

Colorado boy, 7, reportedly faces suspension for tossing imaginary grenade | Fox News

BE done with this political correct ********.

THE PC garbage is hurting this young boy more than throwing the "imaginary" grenade.

He violated an "absolute" wow. Read those rules and tell me how kids can follow the ones that apply to them? I'm guess the alcohol and tobacco "absolutes" were for the teachers?? Wanna bet those rules are bent daily. Man does common sense just get tossed out and defended as those are the rules?? My guess is "absolutes" are broken quite often with kids in a K-5 school.

Good Lord...I think I'm dumber just for reading about that nonsense. A fake grenade gets him suspended?

I guess if he yelled Gas! Gas! Gas! and farted he would be expelled?

I got sent to the principals office for running a gambling ring with the magnetic tic tac toe board in the back of my first grade class...swindling poor little morons out of their lunch money with games of chance. True story.

At least I didn't point at them with a cocked finger after taking their dimes and yell "pew pew pew"...that would have got me thrown in the clink at this poor kid's concentration camp of an elementary school.

Boys this is exactly what the mainstream liberal dumbasses want. They are destroying America within and their mighty King Dumbama is leading the charge.

That is all we did as little kids was play Cowboys and Indians and shoot at each other. Get shot play dead and had a good time doing it. They want us to stand up straight in their communist line and praise the mighty King.

I HATE THIS LIBERAL MOVEMENT IT MAKES ME SAD TO BE AN AMERICAN ANYMORE.

For goodness sake, that is the most ridiculous thing I have every heard. A little boy is playing outside at recess an imaginary game which children do all the time and he may get suspended for it. Everybody is getting way too sensitive these days. The little boy was playing the good guy and saving the world. Thats what children do. This is just crazy.

I agree, this is ridiculous. However, this all started when the "three strikes and you're out" movement started. The conservatives started that. Don't go blaming the liberals for this. Almost all liberals and school teachers I know would not be in favor of this. They want what is best for the child.

What exactly are you saying? These "absolutes" started from the three strikes and your out idea? Regardless of your answer I disagree that almost all Liberals would not be in favor of this of course I'm not a Liberal so what do I know about the minds of Liberals.... but Conservatives want whats best for the child as well, we have kids too.

The common ground with most is this is dumb and to me its rules and regs gone over board with out of touch teachers or Administrators making decisions.

I'll tie the Liberal thing in with most BOE and teachers I know are Liberals including my sister and 2 cousins who teach (trust me we have heated discussions!). I would not be surprised that this decision came from an Obama sticker having, tree hugging, money grows on trees ideals, green movement.org, Hybrid driving, pro gun control Ellen watching Liberal....just saying!

I have no idea what you are talking about. As a retired teacher, I remember when all this started. Teachers were not in favor of all this. This was before Obama was ever elected!

My understanding is that the "three strikes and your out" was a federal crime issue not some silly thing for a kid making noises and gestures in schools.
I was asking is that what you were saying has caused this school to enact "absolutes"? Not being associated with schools myself I was asking is that what is going on here? I read the "absolutes" and from your comment I understood that as a former teacher your saying that schools adopted that "three strikes and your out" idea and applied it to kids? Again I thought that was a federal issue. That's what I'm asking and I'm saying that if that's what happened then it's a waste of time and resources.

Lets see..........commit 3 FELONY offenses in your life, and go to jail for LIFE.

point a paper gun, or throw an imaginary grenade, and be suspended from school.

Yea, I REALLY see the similarities.........

Just how are the two even partially related.

Actually the Zero tolerance garbage has nothing to do with 3 strikes, but maybe you can tell me how.

Reminds me of Minority Report and the Bureau of Pre - Crime. By suspending the student who is playing, they are preventing a FUTURE crime.

If that is the case, lock everyone up in the west end, and you will eliminate 90% of all future LOUISVILLE crime.

Do you see how totally asinine my example is?? I'm wondering.

    Later,

    Geo

It is a waste of time of time and resources. Each situation needs to be looked at what is happing at that place.
