I just tried to post something for sale in the community tackle box and it wouldn't let me....wound up directing me to a bunch of different pages that I really didn't want to go to....So much for selling anything on fishin.com

It uses a new service to sell stuff.........I couldn't figure it out either.......ended up using Craigs List.

Same here I didn't want to register or whatever so I didn't go with it. I was guessing it tossed me into a bigger network of folks to see what I had for sale? I don't know but I do remember someone else having trouble with it. It sure was easier before.

I posted my media/fishing tackle cabinet last night using the new software. The register thing is just so the app recognizes your fishin.com login credetentials, they ask for nothing more than an email address you used for fishin.com.

The new app allows you to accept payments via credit card, direct deposit, or a check mailed to your home. Or you can opt out of all that and just list the sale as "payment thru other means". In my case that's what I did, and it was happy to do it, and I just added verbage in the description to say "cash on pickup".

It up loads pics fast. It was not hard to use, straight forward. To see what an add looks like, click on my Fisherman's Tackle Cabinet/TV Media stand.

See my comments on the Forum Topics, I gave Pete feedback. Biggest concern I had was using any of their payment methods that all would have required providing accounts numbers.....not "ish".

im seriously on the dislike side of things....i for one, wont be posting anything for sale on here anymore.....others may like the changes, but i don't....I think you had it right the first time Peter

OK. Thanks for the feedback. We are evaluating the service. That does not mean that we are keeping it.

If you don't accept any of the auto payment options, you still can do business the person-to-person way. That's what I did with my cabinet listing, and justed added words "Cash on Pickup".

I don't know what all is involved, but is there a way of doing both? I mean could it be set up to where someone could start a thread if they chose to, or also click to sign up for the other service it that would better suit their needs?
