    drone strikes against

American citizens, who aid and abet terrorism against americans abroad or domistic, are NOT americans anymore.Did anyone ever hear about a Robert "bubba" Brown getting zapped in Norway, or switzerland for doing anything. But Abduhl Mohamud Ratzazz burns an american flag, help lay down an IED, hes a valid target. And IMHO its not assination, that hell fire missle is more like a "stair way to heaven". Of course he chooses to do those deeds in a muslim country. The only REAL americans who go to those places are american military.

An enemy of the United States is an enemy of the United States regardless of what nationality he/she might be and should be treated as such... If policy warrants the use of drones or anything else against such enemy I have no problem with it, be they american or otherwise... I'm not sure an american traitor deserves as much consideration as a muslim national terrorist.

Because DRONES are being purchased by local gubments, and DRONES are being used on American Soil.

Lines are being drawn. Would it had been OK to use a drone to kill McVeigh? Or Randy Weaver....or David Koresch.

They KEY is that all three of those guys were potentially evil men, yet only ONE McVeigh actually did anything illegal before being pushed by the federal gubment.

AND lets not forget that the VERY GOVERNMENT authorizing drone strikes is the same government that stated that returning military veterans are our number one terrorism threat.......WOW.

So, yea, it concerns me that our government is unilaterally authorizing drone strikes against Americans. AND I for one am glad that republicans and democrats alike are concerned, as they should be.

I guess we all have opinions about these things and I suspect it is a political thing in that it doesn't matter what the sitting president does the opposite party will try to turn it against him... Haven't paid a lot of attn in this case so don't know if his critics are from the right or left but I would suspect they are mostly from the right even though it would make more sense for the right to be backing these actions.

    Drone strikes on foreign soil......OK......

Drone strikes on American soil.......not OK......

I'd hate to come home tomorrow to find my neighbor DEAD only to find out he was a "terrorist" operative for whoever....and the GUBMENT chose to take him out with a drone strike.

YOU REALLY think this is OK.............REALLY.

Now, we're not talking drone strikes on American soil...........yet, but I think the current administration would be quite fine with authorizing it.

Koresh married a 13-year-old girl--a crime even in Texas--and could likely have prosecuted for statutory rape as well. Allegations of child and sexual abuse were rampant coming from the Waco compound.

Not condoning the raid or especially its methodology, but Koresh should have been in jail.

OK.....my point still is valid..........In the case of Koresh they burned him out........"accidentally". Would it had been acceptable to simply target them with a drone?

And make no bone about it......Koresh and his group were labeled terrorists.......

    Just asking.

Didn't you go a little off the deep end Mr. Fisher, that's pretty much what I meant about it being a political thing, doesn't matter what this president does the right attempts to find a way to turn it against him... I doubt you would have even had that thought in your head with a republican president making the same decisions.
