Where do you guys catch them jumping most of the time...I fished the 22nd and 23rd and never saw a jump. I am back towards the Nolin Lake Estates area. I don't feel like I see very many jumps that often while down there. I have been trying to catch a few whites the past few years but havent had much luck. Glad your luck turned around for you and sounds like you had a good time!!

last year I seen very few jumps at nolin, seems to be better this year. last sunday morning hit the lake around 9:00 am. fish where in the jumps until about noon probably because it was cloudy. after the sun came out late morning they seem to shut off. best time to look for jumps for me is 1st--in the morning from daylight to noon---2nd from 6:00 pm to dark. I have found them in the jump at a lot of different places--you just never know--but heres some areas that have produced for me.......out from Red rock----mouth of connoaway--main lake by m/dear campground---have also heard of some good jumps in open water right in frt of the dam. sometimes I just take a ride around the lake in areas I have had luck before at these times. some days I see a lot of jumps, others I see a few and others I see none. keep hunting and be on the water at these times and you will find them ! later jc

    Thanks a lot JC,
That was a good report. I am going to be down there in early August and hope I can catch a few.

Went this evening and was nearly skunked. Caught two that I wouldn't even call dinks. We were clearly doing it wrong.
