I think Jason Brown was going code three if memory is correct. He was fired. Adams the other was drunk.
Your memory is NOT correct; I distinctly remember that he had no lights or siren on. He WAS responding to a call at the time. And when you say "Adams the other was drunk," I assume you're referring to the woman he killed? Her toxicology test kit mysteriously disappeared, but let's say she was. He still was going over 80 in a 45 zone, when he was off-duty. If he'd been obeying the speed limit, like we civilians have to do, he would have had plenty of time to stop.
Its not only luville.
She was drunk. Fact.Your memory is NOT correct; I distinctly remember that he had no lights or siren on. He WAS responding to a call at the time. And when you say "Adams the other was drunk," I assume you're referring to the woman he killed? Her toxicology test kit mysteriously disappeared, but let's say she was. Cops are more scrutinized than probably any other job. I don't know what you do, if you make a mistake is it on the news? Does the news misrepresent facts for several months or even years to make cops look bad. Yes all the time. Do we get the benefit of doubt in an investigation? Nope.
Write down the license plate numbers and call it in. If your that mad about it. If that is your only gripe about the cops in this area then we are doing pretty good.
We are not selling drugs out of police cars, taking bribes, look at other pds around and see how corrupt they are.
Later I am off to the beach, by the way I am going to drive like hell to get there.lol
We have some LMPD regular members on the forum here.
My office is in a bad area in Louisville (330 East Breckenridge St. at the corner of Preston St. ). For the last twenty three years LMPD has been extreemely helpful to me. Everyone officer I have met was top notch and went beyond the call of duty. It always helps a lot to treat them nicely and with respect as they deal with all types of people all day.

That doesn't necessarily mean the crash was her fault. He was doing almost twice the speed limit, while he was off-duty. Fact. I don't care if she was passed out behind the wheel, I still say that had not be gong at a rate of speed that would have gotten ME arrested, he would had plenty of time to stop.
NO matter what is said you are always right. Send me your address and I will have it put into CAD so if something ever happens at your place I will be sure no we all drive with all due regard. Not going to argue any more.
That might be a valid response, if Adams had been responding to a call when the accident occured. He was OFF DUTY, heading to a SIDE JOB, going nearly TWICE the speed limit. Facts which you seem to have no trouble ignoring.
No just trying to ignore you. If you don't like call the front office. I have no idea what you do. Don't really care. You are talking about some stuff that is almost 10 years old. I am not saying that he wasn't wrong. If there would have been enough grounds to fire him he would have lost his job. If there would have been enough evidence for him to get indicted he would have been. Get the plate numbers and call in.
I know sometimes when I am responding an investigation I will speed a little. I don't put my lights or siren on. Probably should.
When some at ford makes a mistake or some screws up at the mechanic shop or you buy a defective fishing bait please come on here and bash them as well. Call the news too.
My brother bought a Ford Mustang after several weeks of driving a golf ball became loose in the door and would roll around. Bran new car how did that happen?????????
If you have that much of a case of red ass about it set up a meeting with the chief, tell him all about it.
I bet you are the same guy that pays my salary. Dude get a life. Go fishing and blow off some steam. Do we have some guys that are not good cops yep. Do we speed when we should not yep. Lets go outside of GE and see how many guys speed on their way home. How many get in wrecks and hurt or kill people that never make the news.
You would be shocked at how many fatalities there are, in a given month that never make the news.
Call the chief call psu and complain.
By the way some times the swat, bomb and dive team drive fast when they get called out from the house and don't run code 3 because they just don't when they are on the highway. Its wrong but they do it. It looks a lot like they are off duty cause they are not in uniform. They are wrong. Call the chief.
What you and I have been going back and forth about is not "almost 10 years old," it happened in May 2010. And if it had happened in the line of duty, that would be a BIG mitigating factor. But it didn't. Deny it all you want, but if it had not been a cop, going 38 mph over the speed limit, you can't tell me he would have gotten off scott-free.
No how old was the Jason Brown thing? He did not get off scott free. The case was also reviewed by the Commonwealth as was the Jason Brown thing. Call the chief. Even the newest case you have is 3 years old. Either be like Louis Coleman or let it go brother.
Sounds like you need to go to the doctor and talk about OCD meds. Know all the stories and not what is just on the news or what you can find out. Call the TIA officer and ask him about the case before you spout facts.
