Today should have been the day

Well thanks to the river not being fishable Chuck and I will be unable to layeth the smacketh down on an old Shepardsville Hippie and an old retired Pill roller. It was going to be fun watching them cry like little teenage school girls not asked to the Prom.

Have a good day fellas, I will work on my deck this afternoon as I am putting new floor boards down. Work instead of fishing.....................Arggh.

Blah, blah, blah. All talk and no action team thong. They have been flushing their toilets all week to make the river rise. If I didn't have to make a grocery run to feed Doug dinner tomorrow, I'd make a run to the river.

This is my "Second bi-annual Farewell Dinner for Doug". I think he just moves so I'll feed him!!

Menu: Fried bluegill and crappie I caught in Minnesota and hush-puppies. Home made beer bread, home made coleslaw, home made tartar sauce. Deviled eggs. I'll have a batch of homemade salsa to munch on before the meal is served. That's all that I can think of right now.

I was going to fix up some corn on the cob but I didn't want to watch Doug try to gum the corn off the cob!!

We'll also have an assortment of adult beverages to sample and keep our throats wet for the gab fest that I know will occur.

Dang dude, every time I see your picture you got a giant ass cat hoisted. Sure would hate to know I had to fish a catfish tournament against you. 'Specially when the river is uh... 'unfishable'.

Thanks fella's ole man river gave me a treat. The big ones both came out of the same hole, along with the one that got away do to the dummy behind the reel. I went over them with my depth finder and thought I'll bet those are bighead and silver...but was pleasantly surprised. The river was rockin though, not for just anybody. And by the way Tyme between you and Mark talkin bout my aaah excess chins and aaah tool shed, I threw almost 500 bales a hay yesterday and feel GGRRReat today LOL.Besides they say never trust a skinny chef so I'm fine with that LOL. Chuck

Well well well well well well......
It certainly seems that Team Thing would have layed down a can of whoop ass unlike any ever seen. Good thing Doug and Tyme didn't make it because it would not have even been close as I knew it wasn't going to be.
Once you boys rattled my boy's cage I knew you were flat in for it. I would have been there for and added a fish or two but once you challenged Chuck I knew you were done.....

Way to go my brother from another mother I knew it the whole time and it was never a doubt in my mind....Never!
Beautiful Blue's and good to see the big ones..............WAY TO GO CHUCK!
