Just watched Pitino's entire press conference, its lengthy. This was mandated by Jurich and even Rick didn't know it until yesterday according to him. Evidently Chane was being watched very closely by some aides to Jurich. He was waiting for him to step out of line and I guess he did it. I said earlier today before any of this came out that Louisville would be better off without him and I still think in the long run they will. He really has not been producing this year anyway and has bascially been a side show distraction from the team, He's gone, good bye now the team can be better for it.

I'm not going to enjoy the news. Why would I? I highly doubt that Chane's life is going to take a turn for the better if he's separated from the structure and oversight that comes with being part of a team. That's really unfortunate and sad. I can only hope that somehow he figures things out and turns his life around before it's too late.

Agreed and I do feel it's drugs, Pitino danced it in the press conference but mentioned it in a hypothetical type reference. The comment was about the half way or slightly past half way. Have the world by the horns and choose the very wrong path I guess it happens every day.

I listened to some of the Big Blue call in before the game and some of the fans were down right nasty. I think it was Tom Leach that got down right testy with the fans over being ready to bag a season with just three losses and I don't blame him. He busted Behannan and Blackshear and I died when I read it, because if you have ever been around Mark or fished with him he's a fun person. And I can just picture his rage and banter watching these two players he had hopes for like we all do and some of our own rants. So when I read Behennan smoked a fattie and Blackshear "the human pussy" i lost it...
On a serious note, Behannan didn't act at all like he did one yr ago. I couldn't believe it. I figured major run with Randle out. I think Chris from Richmond is the guy that called the radio shows every year picking UK football team to go 10-2 and he was serious. He would break down the opponents and tell you which two games were the losses. It was awesome because he was dead serious.

BTW the best Louisville caller was Mikie Pence. He was a legend on sports talk shows back in the day and al;ways opened his calls with "This is Mikie Pence, #1 Louisville Cardinal fan" and he sound ed like he was doing a WWE promo.

Btw, I love the hypocritical folks of KSR, especially how quickly Matt Jones changed his mind about Calipari. For those that don't know, before the Kansas vs. Memphis national title game Matt Jones wrote on KSR that he couldn't pull for Memphis because if you traveled in recruiting circles you heard all the stories about his cheating! Now he loves Calipari.
