pontonner, I help around 20 people a day sign up for Obamacare, the cost of what I posted are real, the premiums for this faily started at ($) a mth, they did not guallify for the tax break, they onny qualified for the "qualified health plan,. I am just reporting what I see everyday, I work for health and family services, I know what I am seeing,, It sems that everybody is getting different results, we did a case the other day three times, did it the same way each time and every time it was different.. Also I work on Kynect everyday. That's what I do, I am no expert, but I do know how to do my job and I do know what I have been seeing and it is not good.

Obama did take a hold of it and twist it a little to awake it. the Pubs new that he was working on Health care changes, if Obamas plan was so bad to them, why didn't they put forth a better plan themselfs. remember senator Kennedy, thats all he did for years and years was talk about health care, and thats all he did. like all the rest of them was talk, no twisting at all, just talk.
Obama did try something, at least now if you have a illness you can get coverage, the insurance co. can't just say we don't want customers like you, we want to sell coverage to healthy people. you see what I'm trying to say, he TRIED something.

The dems did not take time to read the bill so what makes you think that they would have given the repubs a chance in hell to pass a bill? Maybe if the bill had been read it could have been altered into something good. Both parties are sorry as hell! All they worry about is pulling wool over our eyes and getting reelected! Just remember Diane Feinstein's famous quote when asked about the bill before passage, "I think we should pass it so that we can see what is in it". The Dems did not take the time to read the bill before passing it. That is kinda like driving down the interstate with a blind fold on. Not a smart thing to do and not recommended unless you want a wreck. Common sense tell you that you shouldn't pass a bill unless you know what is in it, because the people are paying you to do that. Now I am afraid that we have found the wreck. JMO

I agree it was shoved down our throats by the Dems but I think it was Nancy Pelosi who said that. Regardless, this wasn't done properly and is a disaster. Of course koolaid drinking Libs feel that by doing something to the worlds greatest healthcare it was a good thing. That's simple minded and ignorant. Why not fix what was wrong not the idiotic approach they took. The stupidity of some people never ever ceases to amaze me. How many of you would sign a contract that will manage your money, healthcare and children's healthcare without reading it? Wouldn't you want to know what your about to do??? I would and so would anyone smart enough to understand how a transaction works....ok I'll make it easy for the knuckleheads....you get what you pay for and when you sign the contract that means you understood what you signed which implies you Read it!!!!

Hell most of us read cell phone contracts so we understand what we are signing don't we????...but it's ok for elected law makers to not read that bill and get an applause for being ignorant? WHAT??? even they know it's a debacle but some koolaid drinkers are hanging on and can't call I like it is.....sad. I guess since it doesn't apply to them they really didn't care.

First off this was supposed to be something the American people wanted but sign up for the law was a joke. Btw who wanted this???? No one I know...

Secondly, to hang your hat on a law that no one read is as stupid as putting a fox in charge of a hen house. I guess we are supposed just sit back and wait and see who all gets killed in this. It's already known it's under funded and that young healthy or ignorant Americans are to pay the majority of the healthcare costs. At least that's what they said a few months ago but being Liberals they will come up with a million excuses and hope one of them sticks and if that doesn't work they will try to get über rich celebrities to push this law. Lastly, if that won't work we will find out it was the repubs fault because they distracted the law makers enough that no one could read the bill.

Well great. I think we ought to give that man a medal for...trying something. Never mind that it's FRICKIN HORRIBLE. He gets an A for effort.

Reminds me of our old high school basketball coach. After we took a drubbing by 30 points on the road, he gave a real simple speech in the locker room after the game. He walked in, slammed his clipboard down, and told the team that before they got on the bus, they each ought to go over and take a big crap in the corner. That way, they could at least tell the folks back home that they did something tonight.

Is it even a little surprising to any of you guys that the majority of the right wing seems to be fortune tellers, somehow they know what the future is going to bring and have no doubt healthcare is always going to stay a disaster, it might well do that but I'm sure just about every other change in social policies in the past were met with the same skepticism as this one... There were likely plenty of nay sayers during FDR's days, I'm sure Mr. Reagan had those when programs for the veterans came around... This might prove to be as big a disaster as it looks like today but only time will tell that, or you guys crystal ball just might be wrong.

us to get our annual physical----it's listed as "Preventative Medicine." In other words, an annual physical can catch certain diseases
early and hopefully cure them. If you would like to find out, too late, that you have prostate cancer or colon cancer then go for it.
By the way, our large insurance premiums have already paid for it and the insurance company doesn't charge us for preventative care.

Hmmm.. was there something about "earn" the right you didn't understand?.. Don't want to be insulting here but to earn the right to go to the doctor would require a person to earn his living and either pay the doctor or pay for insurance which provides that.. We have provided emergency medicine to people for years, if a person wishes to earn his living then he also earns his trip to the doctor... I believe obamacare wishes to provide that service for losers who we all seem to have a distaste for....

I do not wish to sound harsh to the folks who work for a living and make less wages than is required to provide for their families, I suspect healthcare will help those folks with that and I am not in any way opposed to that.... I am opposed to people who think the tax payers owe them their living and this might be one more example of giving to those who choose not to earn their living.

IMO he did it right out there in the middle of the floor and everyone is stepping in it.

Mr. Obama is doing everything he can to sweep that steaming pile into the corner, but those millions whose insurance have been cancelled, and those millions who are seeing their insurance costs increase are having a hard time focusing on the President's big 'income inequality' push. His pen is poised and his hand is on his phone...God help us.

The healthcare system we had was far from perfect, but over 80% of the country was happy with it. Big government Democrats and their voters have destroyed the private system, created another gigantic piss poor federal program, and stuck everyone who has even a half assed decent wage with the tab.

Dear Mr. President,
We just can't thank you, the Democrat party, and all your voters enough for fixing our healthcare system.
