FYI...Wildcat Creek ramp on Blood River at Kentucky Lake is currently closed for renovations. Depending upon the weather, they are hoping to have one lane open around March 8. If I find out anything further I'll post it here.

I was there a couple years ago and it was a rough ramp. It will be nice to have it fixed.![]()

The below was posted on FB. For those that don't know, Paul Rister is the KDFW person assigned to Kentucky/Barkley Lake.

Update on Blood River Boat Ramp. The engineering crew hopes to get the two lower push-in slabs complete this week. The are driving from Frankfort, so when they get back next week they will push those slabs in the water. They will then start forming up the middle and upper sections next week. If all goes well, they hope to have at least one boat lane open for the weekend of March 8th.
KDFWR is on site at Wildcat today. The lake has dropped enough they were able to push the slab in the water this morning. Because of high water they couldn't push the slab deep enough last week so it was delayed. They have concrete ordered for today and they will be able to pour both lanes to get them away from the water. If the weather cooperates they will be able to pour one lane up to the pavement tomorrow and possibly open the one lane back up on Friday. Next week they would finish the other side of the ramp. Again, this is all weather dependent (chance of rain tomorrow).
Here is a link showing how they push slabs into the water. This project was the ramp below Kentucky Lake.
