Thats just pure laziness right there. Way to many little things to go wrong along with it.

It seems Minn kota is taking another shot at the Auto Deploy\Stow feature. Pro VLE can tell you stories about the failures of the last one. Anyway, this version not only auto deploys\stows but can be moved up and down with the foot pedal or remote.

I hope they learned their lesson and added a method to over ride the auto features so you can manually delpoy\stow if needed. That was the huge issue with their last try at it.

I can see this being great for anglers who have a bad back or a hard time lifting things. I do like the thought of pushing a button to raise and lower the motor vertically while fishing. How many times have you hung a lure in shallow water and had to pull the motor up with one hand and have your fishing rod in the other trying to dislodge the lure? Sure at times the motor has to be so high that only the blades are hitting the water but this feature would still be great.
i bet this is an expensive motor!
More expensive junk...
Ah, memories Duayne; nothing like cruising down the lake at 50 mph and having your TM deploy! The old genesis is still in the shed if anybody wants it for an art project...
HA! HA! It was an awesome idea gone way bad. Hopefully they learned from the genesis. I can see where people on a tower could really benefit from it as they don't have to clime down and back up. Not an issue for typical Cumberland fishing. I also agree there are just too many things to go wrong. Dave and Scott can attest to that!
