    forum runner

Do any of you use forum runner......I purchased it a long time ago, but didn't like it so I rarely used my phone for the forum...

Well, fast forward a few years...all I have to day is wow....it is great.....I really like it...

Easy to use , and much better on the eyes when reading the forums...

Peter, does using forum runner have Any adverse effects on the site?

    Later,

    Geo

I never used it that I know of. I use my iPhone for 90% of my posts. Spelling gets a little rough at times from fat fingering the keys but I like the convenience of surfing with it.

That's pretty much all I use when viewing from my iphone. Easier to read with no pinching and zooming. I set up a favorite within forum runner a long time ago so when I open it up fishing.com it's right there. It will also send push notifications to your phone so you get an alert when a p.m. is received or somebody replies to a thread you have subscribed to. That's really nice because you don't have to even be in forum runner or be on the site to receive a notification on your phone. You set up how the alert is handled on your phone settings. On the iphone to set up forum runner notifications go to settings / notifications / then scroll down to forum runner. It's also very easy to take a photo when you are out on the water or at the boat ramp and uploaded it to the site in your post. The push notifications is very handy! No adverse effects on the site. Make sure once you get to fishing.com in forerunner you log in to fishing.com. There are more features that way. Too bad they charge a dollar 1.99 for the app in the App Stores. I don't know why they do that. It's owned by the same company that owns the software of the site runs off of. As an alternative if you go to the full site on your phone and scroll to the very bottom left there is a drop-down window where you can select the mobile scan. The mobile skin is very easy to read but you can't upload photos or receive the push notifications for PMs and subscribed friends. I'm not sure but you may have to be logged in to be able to select the mobile Skin.
