Went to GRL Musky fishing yesterday with buddy. Saw 3 or 4 boats all day. Surf temp 63F. Water clarity was ok. I had heard talk of lake turning but was definitely fishable.
Caught 0 Musky. 3 follows and one taunting 40"er who jumped/rolled right next to boat for no apparent reason.
Partner did catch 1 bass right before we had to leave late in afternoon that was almost 6 lbs. He caught it on a12" gliderUsually have lots of bass follows but that was only bass we saw while musky fishing.
Did see quite a few balls of shad on graph back in creeks but nothing bothering them except one time a small school of smaller bass surfaced in jumps about 20 secs in vey back of creek
Cedar is usually good, but so is GRL. If you will, I have a tournament at GRL this Saturday so if you go there please report how you do to me. Thanks, and good luck!!
Went to Herington caught 9 spots and 5 largemouth 2 keepers and one got off at the boat. Pretty good day most of the fish caught between sunrise and 10 fished till 3 and called it a day and another thing that water was low, guess it is because of the Kennedy bridge work.
