I bet that has been a long year for him, spending it in such small area, as the people in this world seam to be getting crazier by the minute, and as I watched the news about him spending a year in space, I was thinking, when a nuclear war gets started, and it won't matter who lands the blows, as the earth turns, the radiation will spread to every ocean, lake, river, mountain and field around the globe, no one on earth will escape it, even the greedy power hungry politicians that agreed to use the nuclear weapons, I guess for as long as they would have supplies to last, the people on the space lab, would be in the only safe place left. theres a couple verses in the bible that make me wonder about the space lab, and planes, and nuclear war. if you have never read these verses, read them and give some thought to to it, I've thought about it like, only a few hundred years ago, surely folks have read where it says you can build your nest among the stars, and surely they have thought how could we build a nest so high up there, now the space lab could be called a nest among the stars, here are a couple verses to guve you something to think about today.

    Ecclesiastes 1:9King James Version (KJV)

9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

    Obadiah 1:4

“Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.”

    King James Version (KJV)

To my knowledge, the only times the God has explicitly hammered any type of knowledge seeking as sinful, evil, or antithetical to His will, it was when the knowledge seeking was because of the vocation of a sinful act. When a man set foot on the Moon, it was merely to prove that Man could put a foot on an extraterrestrial body, not, to my knowledge, done as an attempt to defy any limitation set down by God so I would consider such an act harmless in a moral sense as long as the intent is not in contravention of His will.
