    Fishing on dale was sometimes frustrating because of the long nosed gar. But they can be fun to deal with, cut the barb off a jig head, and tie a strand of yarn[nylon] and you will wear yourself out casting to them, also the creeks on the cumberland river are full of them.

    I have seen some GIANTS on KY Lake..............

    They are crazy.

    We use to do similar things catching some huge ones in South Carolina while in the backwaters of the Cooper River.
