Not sure why people are gullible enough to believe covid can be eliminated. Lockdown, no lockdown, mask, no mask, vaccines, no vaccines, the disease is here to run its course. If modern medicine could beat this type of virus, colds and flu wouldn't exist. At this point covid is about politics and power.

Also pretty foolish IMO to believe locking down America would have stopped it from getting here. Cruise ship passengers under armed guard in internment camps? Really? The southern border is basically open, but I'm sure they're giving them free masks, so nothing to worry about there.

Soon enough the third vaccine booster will be mandated by the doddering fool and Dimocrat party puppet that is our President. I say puppet because the man never had an original thought in his life. What's to stop the government from mandating all other vaccines out there? Or for that matter doing any **** thing they want?

Pro government sentiment and government dependence have turned the masses into sheep, spoon fed and manipulated by the media. People, particularly those on the left are clamoring to give up our ever dwindling freedom for false promises of safety by career politicians.

Yea we slowed it down for a week. My point is that you can't keep the horse in the barn by shutting the barn door after the horse is already out of the barn.

I'm talking about community spread. One person went to a convention and when he came back home 16 of his friends were also sick with the virus as he gave it to them all. This virus spread GEOMETRICALLY.

I'm not saying we should not do anything. I'm saying we should do everything in our power to stop this virus. Hell I read that Penn State University did a study and found out that White tail Deer harbor this virus. How are we going to control the virus in the deer population? Remember it all started in Bats from what I understand. The Chinese were studying the virus in bats which lived in a cave about 100 miles South of Wuhan, China. And minks can also get the virus. So can large cats like tigers. How many other animals are out there carrying this virus in them. We will have to develop an aerosol type vaccine and spray it all over the place to vaccinated all the animals out there along with the humans.

Heck I wish we could put the vaccine in the water to get more easily everyone and everything vaccinated.

Responsible efforts to limit its impacts? What happened to eliminating it all together? Is that not what we were led to believe the vax would do? Time will tell whether a rushed to the market vaccine mandated by a power hungry government was responsible or not. I read something on the internet (so it must be true) that almost half the people in the hospital are fully vaccinated. And why hasn't any pro Biden posters said anything about all but open borders admitting hundreds of thousands of un vaxxed people? Responsible you think?

I honestly don't believe anything the shady Mr. Fauci says, he is IMO up to his eyeballs in questionable past connections with this disease. Add the fact he's changed his recommendations whichever way the political wind blows, and you've got the little man behind the curtain working the levers.

I personally don't discourage anyone from getting vaxxed, as long as they choose to. My main problem is I was forced to get it ( well, actually only if I wanted to keep making a living) because of a Presidential order from a man who has been in the DC swamp for 50+ years now. A man who by even the staunchest Dems have to admit is an incompetent fool. But hey, at least he's not Trump.

Biden is there because of hate for Trump. I don't like Trump as a person, but he won me over by the actions he took for this country. Anyone who is honest with themself knows we were doing light years better as a country under Trump than under the current staggeringly incompetent leadership. Biden reminds me of the 'Weekend at Bernies' movie, dead from the shoulders up, but his party and most of the media straps a 2x4 to his back and runs him out there when they have to.

Build back better...what a complete sham. 10's of thousands of IRS agents have been hired, you believe that is to chase the small percentage of those evil wealthy people? No, I think not. Give the Federal government more power and keep supporting pro government politicians, I promise and guarantee you will loose more freedom and pay more, plenty more.

Out of context AND before a vax even came out. The thrust of his remarks were an attempt to get the country back to some semblance of normalcy. Trump had enough sense to realize we couldn't just stop and bar our doors, the economy would collapse. He wasn't smart enough however to avoid trying to buy votes by sending out free money.

If it were completely up to your average Democrat politician...Andy Beshear for example, you'd still be locked in your house waiting on the government to print some money so they could send you another check. I heard he didn't even want people going to the parks, and even some boat ramps closed.
