If Trump runs he will lost big time. I doubt that the GOP would even nominate him to run this next time. It would be a huge mistake.

Georgia is already getting a special grand jury in May of 2022 and they will get testimony from people that will throw Trump under the Bus. They already have audio tape of Trump trying to talk the SOS into doing illegal vote counting. That is a felony in GA.

And then there is this federal investigation:

Unbelievable how little we expect out of politicians today.

Not too many presidents back, we made Jimmy Carter put his peanut farm into a blind trust to avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest.

I'll say it over and over again, we get the elected officials we deserve.

So, I understand that......AND I agree. It is a little different with a businessman who actually RUNS businesses.

Still, From documentation that I saw and stories I read.........on CNN and Money and a couple other sites, Donald Trump divested himself from nearly 400 businesses before taking office......that is GOOD enough for me.

It is not good enough for most of the EXTREMISTS out there hate the man. And yes, I say extremists. I'm concerned that we have almost guaranteed that the **** storm we call politics is never going to have any "rules".

Hell, they are STILL going after Trump.

I suspect, if we went through all the business dealings of Kennedy, Bush, Truman, Eisenhower........all of the great presidents, we would see very serious flaws.

Here is something I found from a 2017 CNN article.

President Trump says he has resigned from positions in hundreds of business entities, according to a document provided to CNN by the Trump Organization.

The text of the 19-page letter reads: "I, Donald J. Trump, hereby resign from each and every office and position I hold" in more than 400 entities listed on the following pages.

The letter is signed by Trump and dated January 19, the day before he was sworn in.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters Monday that Trump's two adult sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, are "fully in charge of the company."

At a press conference January 11, Trump pledged to transfer his business holdings to a trust run by the sons. He refused to sell his ownership stake, a step that many ethics lawyers say is critical to avoid conflicts of interest.

Trump lies and you can't believe anything he says. Even if he lied to CNN and they reported it as what Trump said that doesn't whitewash it. It's still a **** lie.

Exactly right. Instead of divesting himself or putting his assets in a blind trust, he hands it over to his sons. Good lawd that is not the same thing. C'mon, as if they are going to keep him in a dark? You're not that naive, Geo.

Geo knows what Trump did and he is ok with it as long as Trump helps him pay lower taxes.

If that is not busting someone's ball then nothing is.

And it depends on who I'm talking to or about.
