    best cell phone for weather???????

I am looking to buy a new cell phone in the near future and I am wanting to get one that has very good weather and radar capabilities. I am with AT&T but I don't think that matters much.

I have an older Motorola RazR, which is pretty obsolete for nowadays. However, AT&T internet will allow you to access The Weather Channel, giving you daily forecasts, extended outlook forcasts, as well as current radar that you can zoom in and out. For another fee, you can get real-time radar, the kind that moves as the clouds move. However, if you just want to know the current radar, you can't beat this feature. I don't think it will matter what phone you get........but I would ask the representative you purchase the phone from. Hope this helps.

i like my iphone you can touch on the weather app and look at all your favorite places and it will give a 5 day forcast i or you can get the weather channel app and get a 10 day forcast. i put in all the places i like to fish just to check the weather at those lakes even some in florida just to see all at the touch of your finger. plus it is pretty durable mine got washed for a full cycle and still works.

Verizon.........and I use a Motorola Adventure 750......best phone on the market period..

I went into the Verizon store, said I'm HARD on equipment.....said I needed a great all weather phone, that can take some abuse........

THE 750 is a mil spec phone..........He pointed to the phone.......which was submerged in a tank of water..........I said......well, RIGHT......HE CALLED the **** PHONE.........it rang.........

    No questions..........I purchased it.

    Now for the services.....

I use Fishing MyCast by Garmin.......5 bucks a month..........It has really good weather, a fishin report, DNR info for your current location, Location Alerts, etc, etc..............All in all a great product.

AND my Verizon phone is pretty much the best service I've ever had........

Well i have the iphone 3g with the weather channel for free and the cell service i get at lakes in ky is better than any other cell company hands down. I get service when others can't get anything. I don't really trust the weatherman but i do look at the apps often.

I'd go with the iPhone for sure if you can stomach the extra on the monthly bill. It's worth it to me, maybe not for you.

I've got the iphone too. I have the weather channel app. But I also got the weather bug app. I like it the best - I get live feeds from the weather station on Ky Dam. Probably the most helpful app for me. I also have the dam generation link so I can randomly check how much water they are pulling at that time. If I notice they are pulling a pretty good current, I will change locations, and maybe hit a north end ledge. I have not had any problems with the phone, and love it - the uses and possiblilities are endless for it. If you are worried about being rough on them, the make a hardshell, impact resistant and waterproof case. It is kind of bulky, but would be worth it if you are rough on equipment.

I can't see spending the smack for an iphone.

I got the Verizon 750 for free using my every 2 service.......

I have internet, weatherbug, vznavigation......lots of similar stuff.......

NOT NEARLY an iPhone, but good enough for me.
