Yes they looked tough. I would bet they are the team to beat this year for a Championship.

I believe it will happen. Ingram didn't play because of an injury and Bama played like they didn't know he was missing.

What a tribute to Bear Bryant on his birthday (9-11-1913). I wonder if that "Crimson Path" to his grave glows when Bama wins. If so, it must have been smoking when Bama won the big championship.

Congrats, Bug. I have a lot of respect for Alabama Football. They are the team to beat for the National Championship. I hope it ends up Bama and Ohio State for the National Championship, just so the SEC can whip up on the Mighty Big 10 once more. lol

    Florida...looks pretty beatable right now.

    LSU...same deal.

Georgia...had no answer for South Carolina's freshman RB.

South Carolina...though I keep waiting for Garcia to implode, it could be a real good year for them. I'm not looking forward to my Wildcats playing them.

    I love the fall!!!!

When Alabama plays the Gamecocks in three weeks it's gonna really show the strength of both teams. Then it's UK's turn to play the Gamecocks.
I'm with Brian I want to see the SEC smack Ohio State around....again!

I hope that the Alabama vs South Carolina game is a slug-fest that goes into 9 overtimes....and that Alabama comes out on top. That way, the Gamecocks can come into Lexington beat up, missing some tail-feathers, and deflated. That's the only way we'll get them. lol

As much as I hate those orange wearing sons of....

I automatically mark this with "L" on our schedule every year. We've lost 25 years in a row, which is the longest loosing streak among teams that play each other annually. We've had every opportunity over my lifetime of watching UK vs UT Football and I've yet to witness it. We are cursed, plain and simple. Maybe it's Bear Bryant's curse, as some suggest...I dunno. For too many years I've been in the "this is the year" camp. No more. I'll watch, I'll scream like a rabid dog after a t-bone steak, but I'll go in completely expecting a LOSS. And if the past is any indication, it will be a heartbreaking loss, near the end of the game, or in OT, where we have the opportunity to win laid out on a golden platter and **** it up! LOL

    This year, it's in Knoxville.

If we win, I'll eat my hat. And trust me, I'd love to have to eat my hat.

I understand the sentiment Split, but honestly if UK doesn't get them this year I don't know what to say. Matt Simms is UT's quarterback, he is a transfer from Louisville and the son of Phil Simms. The guy couldn't not beat out Justin Burke and Adam Froman for the starting QB position when Louisville's QB talent is the worst it has been since before Howard the Pipe was here. He has a hideous sidearm release and constantly gets balls batted down at the line of scrimmage.

Then if history is any indication, UK will play like a bunch of old ladies from the nursing home....on walkers. We will manage to be just slightly worse than wherever Ewe-Tee sets the bar.
