    Stranded @ McAlpine lower

    Man the gas fitting on my 40hp Jonhson broke today ...good thing I had 3 batteries to get back to New Albany

    To the guy fising in the big blue and white cuddy cabin boat ...I wasn't waving hello I needed help ... Jeese

    Gulp, sounds like the day I had a few weeks ago except I got some help 50 yards from the ramp.

    Plus lost that anchor ...I tried to put a chain on it but the C link I bought was too big to put in the anchor eyelet do I tied the rope back on .I itested the know but the 2nd time I dropped it the know came loose
    Kevin got one nice sauger ...Someone sadi they were getting them obver the weekend at the upper ...i sure would like to know how the got up there ???

    was it on the motor that broke? if it was i`d cut the end off and put it stright to the fuel pump,,could have by passed it and got you back,,,lol

    Jay next time your down on a Fri. I'll be more than happy to show you how to get up there...Been up there the last 3 or 4 weeks no problem. Chuck

    Can I tag along too? We'll make a flotilla out of it!!

    I was checked by the game wardens 2 years ago when the lower was low and even they would not venture to the upper.

    I carry an orange plastic flag in my boat for this reason. Waving the flag instead of waving your arms would show distress in need of help. They are only a couple of bucks.

    Or at least keep one of those old orange life vests and a paddle in your boat...has the same effect only may be a little more noticeable.

    Hey Doug we did that or tried to use the piece of broken plastice and put it between the hoses ,but it kept coming off and It was leaking reall bad ,
