Re: Bearcats Pluck the Chickens and enjoy a Finger Lickin Good Night

vandy's team name is the commadors not condors. the SEC according to most is always weak, and UK hardly ever has trouble getting in the big dance.
i dont know why everything i type is underlined, anyone care to tell me how to get rid of it?

Looks like you somehow clicked the underline option at the top left of your reply to thread window. Click it again and it should go away.

It happens....and I don't think Shaggy has much room to talk here, remember Vanderbilt just a few days ago??? I think Vandy is a bird...and those birds put the hurt on the cats.

The Cincinnati coach worked under Pitino, lead Murray State to the big dance, and is an excellent recruiter. He is under-rated, along with Cincinnait, far too often. I think if the Bearcats were in the SEC, they would be at least in the top three.

With tough competition in the Big East this year, all the teams have become stronger, both in their wins and their losses. I look forward to seeing how many end up in the big dance. I have a feeling UK won't even make it...the SEC is too weak for that to happen.

Remember it is PUFF PUFF PASS!!!! I don't know what your smoking but whatever it is, can a brother get a hit? First, Vandy a "Bird", Commodore is a rank in the Navy and nothing to do with wings and feathers. Second, Cincinnati "under-rated" not this year - they do have 20 wins but with a pre-conference schedule against:

    Carleton University
    Indiana University Southeast
    Mount St. Mary's
    IPFW
    Florida A&M
    Savannah State
    Dayton
    Wright State
    Toledo
    Utah Valley
    Georgia Southern
    Oklahoma
    Miami (oh)
    St. Francis

It is no wonder they won 20 games. Me, a blind squirrel, a largemouth, a smallmouth and a carp could beat these 14 cupcakes in a pre-conference schedule. 1-4 against ranked teams, only win against Louisville, losing the other 4 by double digits (1 was by 8 but close enough). With 3 of their last 5 on the road and their 2 home games against UCONN and Pitt, I see 5 consecutive losses in their future. It was a good thing the Bearcats won last night because that will be their last victory of the year including when they get bounced out in the first round of the Big East Tourney. No way on earth they are the 3rd best team in the SEC, no matter how down a year it is in the SEC, if it is a down year in the SEC. Neutral site, I will take Florida, Vandy, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Georgia, Tennessee at the minimum against Cincinnati.

Xavier is ranked. FWIW I thought Louisville looked very bad last night, that was a road game they should have won.

They did not match the Bearcat's intensity last night. Cincy played like a desparate team. Plus I think Cincy's size bothered them, especially when they didn't shoot as well from 3. I'd just chalk it up as a loss and move on. UCONN awaits......and I will have watched Louisville play 3 times in a calendar week. Love the white kid Kuric.

    +1 on Kuric.

Mike Marra is the one I like. He needs to dunk it more! The man has won many dunk contests and has perfected the windmill dunk!

My ruffles are just fine. The comment about Cincy being the 3rd best team in the SEC is the one that I laughed at. You can't be serious about that comment at all. Louisville may not be the 3rd best team in the SEC and there is no doubt that Louisville is better than Cincinnati.

I didn't say they were the 3rd best team, I said that they would be in the top 3...meaning they could possibly be number one!

Open Mic night at the Louisville Improv is on Tuesday nights. Use that for your opening line and you will have them eating out of the palm of your hand

Cincinnati beat Georgetown last night, adding more credit to my claims.

UK was beat on the road...again...

The Big East is where it's at. Some excellent teams beating on each other the whole season long. Will be interesting to watch come time for the big dance!
