Whats wrong with buying a UofL t-shirt at the Most Awesome Flea Market?![]()
OMG....Tim this statement fits you to a T man..........Cause I swear you only see Red and nothing else matter's in life except for the fact that U of L is finally in a proven Conference.........![]()
I figured this thread would have been short lived with a simple yes or no response from someone.
Considering his age...considering the amount of cash he has, it would be my guess that he probably wouldn't really need to go anywhere else.
I don't think cash drives Pitino. Ego does...... The guy has written books, owns car dealerships, made millions in the NBA and does very well in college ball. What would a guy do after that?? Horses? Women? Oops...He did those too.
I'm looking forward to seeing his son take a college headcoaching job oneday. Can you imagine those two coaching against eachother?? How cool would that be?
I don't have to read any of these threads, they are all the same

Tim,you crack me with your hate of Kentucky,it's as if you think Louisville is some whole other entity or part of Indiana,No that won't work,Mills would never have you either.
Just remember all us "Toothless Inbreds with No Education" next time you want to hunt or fish around the state............
Well that explains why you were off topic by bringing up the 1998 championship.I don't have to read any of these threads, they are all the same

Don't misunderstand something, although this may be hard for you to grasp....unlike Mills, if I hated the state of Kentucky I would move. I do not hate this state, love most things about it. Been from one end of it to the other, can't say there is a lot of other places I would rather live.
What I do dislike is the University of Kentucky football and basketball programs, particularly basketball. I hate their history, I hate some of the things they represent. Things in their history like racism and cheating and their are tons of evidence of both in their past. I hate the fact that when I was in Towne Mall in Elizabethtown as a 12 year old, wearing my 1980 NCAA championship shirt I was told congratulations to the blackbirds on more than one occasion.
Also I didn't say anything about inbreds, I left it out but I guess you felt the need to add it for whatever reason. So now because I am not a Kentucky fan I am not allowed to hunt or fish in the state?![]()
Mills, you really and truly have no clue about any of this do you? Guess what, Louisville won two national title and went to six final fours while being a member of both the Missouri Valley Conference and then the Metro Conference. Seriously, try to keep up and let a little reading comprehension sink in.
Tim, Tim, Tim...
I know that you're just joshin...but brother please...
I can certainly ride your train of thought on "objectivity", because there is no shortage of UK Fans lacking that trait when it comes to discussing basketball. However, please re-evaluate the size of "Big Blue Nation" when you consider the number of teeth and the years of education that lives within it. You've been to the rodeo before, so you know better than make that statement!
I can wear a UK shirt and walk through any airport in this country and generally get a "GO CATS" from somebody...even in Louisville. I'm on a golf course in Austin Texas a few months ago, wearing a UK golf shirt, and some dude that lived on the course starts yelling "C-A-T-S" and directs my attention to the blue flag flying off his deck. I'm UK Alumni and read about the gatherings of other UK Alumni in all corners of the World to watch games. I was sitting in a little dive casino on a Carribean island the size of Bullitt County, watching a UK game on satellite...I start yelling, right about the time some dude across the room started yelling, and we discover that we're both UK fans. He was from Maryland. You know, just as well as I know, that UK fans are numerous...they are everywhere...and they are from all walks of life. You also know, just like I know, that it all grew from a rural/agricultural state like Kentucky, with no professional sports, where folks got behind the program in the early years it was successful when they needed something positive to latch on to. That transcended generations and gave rise to what is arguably the largest, most passionate, most dilusional, unobjective, and raucous college basketball fanbase in the country. Aside from horses and bourbon, what else do we really have to pound our chests about?
P.S. If gold teeth count as missing teeth, your fanbase is missing just as many as ours.I kid, I kid...
I know all of this Prowler, but dang man don't try and rain on my parade today! It is West Virginia against Kentucky today and there are so many stereotypical jokes to be made it is like an early Christmas for me. My team was upset by frickin Morehead for petes sake, don't try and take the rest of my joy out of the tourney!Tim, Tim, Tim...

Also, you guys that have not met me in person do not realize the irony of me making redneck comments about UK fans. Just look where I live, I also chew two packs of Redman a day and hunt and fish all the time. I am the U of L fan base token redneck!![]()

There are only 2 things that came from Shephersville, no not that 2, but Tim T and Onemorecast56
Well that is true Woody, but we finally got rid of Doug. That caused the IQ and number of available teeth to rise, and it also did wonders for our air quality. On the down side, a couple of years ago fisheater moved out here.![]()
But John has all of his teeth.....last I seen....lol![]()
