I don't see why they would need to change anything. I think this is one of the closest watched lakes by KDFW. They have a plan for the lake and I think they are doing a good job executing that plan. It is one of my favorite lake to fish in the area. I have had very good success there. It does stink about the traffic but you need to go there expecting all of the people. It does get pounded every weekend but its a three hundred acre lake, what do you expect. Go to Guist its the same way. There is so much cover at Cedar, its hard to say what kind of monsters will come out of there in the next couple of years. I have already heard of several eight pounders coming from there this year. I think its more the responsiblity of the anglers fishing that lake to make it successful. But not everyone abides by the rules. As far as the number of boats, you could never put a limit on the lake as far as numbers, but you could make some changes as far as boating laws. And that may be the point you were making. One easy way to limit the number of boats is to put a horsepower limit on the lake. I don't think there is any way to enforce a speed limit but that would help also. JMO
