Whether the candidate or elected official comes from the Left or Right, I place a lot of value on personal integrity. I would hope the general populace has a similar viewpoint.

Fly there are a lot of folks in this country who only carry one sided coins in their pockets. When it comes to constitutional matters, they forget everything but the second ammendment.They only listen to whatthey want to hear. If the NRA said cow patties wer5e edible, they'd be out the fields with silver ware.Besides many of them seem to have memory problems, since when was Minnesota noted for picking prime sound responsible candidates???It ended with HHH since lets see Jesse, the comic, now another kook.Big deal. So let me get this straight, it is okay that she not only took farm subsidy money but lied about it? She did benefit from it and it was reported on her financial disclosure forms. The question I have is why did she lie about it? I don't really have a problem with her benefiting from farm subsidy money (although as staunch as you are George, you should) because that is what the program is for.

My two favorite things in this world that people do when they are backed into a corner:
1.) Blame the media, despite the fact that what was reported was TRUE!

2.) Direct attention away from the subject at hand by saying "he/she is not as bad as this person!"

No wonder this country is in the shape it is and only getting worse. Sometimes I think we deserve a lot of what happens to us.
