Talking Re: Who invented the Fork, and Who taught the English how to USE IT???

I tell ya, ask any one who has been in the military how long it takes to eat their food.....

I can get all the food ready at the house, be the last one to get my food set down at the dinner table and eat all my food and have all the dish's washed up and put away. Before my wife and two sons can be done eating their dinner

You eat your food then taste it and enjoy the flavors later while in your rack when in the Army......lol

Can you do that if your Corelle Ware has a Trout pattern or do you have to go with the Bass Pattern? I just hate setting a conflicted table.

Maybe this is how I need to explain it. In my 'neck of the woods' the children ask other children, "What do you do when you come to a fork in the road?" When the new kid answers, "Turn left or turn right," the others start laughing and say, "Start looking for a plate of food."

Now vaite a minute now onced. When we came to a fork in der road, ve always looked to see if one was supposed to throw papa over the fence his hat onced. Besides dat and for sure if its not, who'd walk that far to take a chance maybe onced Jacob woulda got dare first and already taken der plate, ate the food onced, and left just the spoon to be found dare we think that?

I think I'll throw mama down the steps her warm socks, and hope her feets warms before her dander does and the bottom of the brew gets here ahead of her onced.

Now pass me the strussell.........and a little of that hog maw.

Naw, I think some women did that......so we'd all have our reins on. Some man who was wiser, invented the clip on tie, and men once again became uncontrollable to women.

How fortunate to have plates to eat your food off of. For years, the thing that came off of the top of a can, we saved, and used as a serving dish.

    Patches.....I'm depending on you son.......

Tell Patches that Spanky and Mollie (my Shinese "kids") disagree. They think those plastic tops off coffee cans make perfect toys.
