Lets move all our s--- to kuwait, load it up and bring it home. But leave enough explosives so that the Iraqis can kill each other off, what we dont want, leave close to the kurds, they can use it to fight the turks and iranians, till they are all gone. Get us out of the serb croat areas, let em at it.Now we tell the U.N. that the building is going condo, and suggest Moscow or tehran as new sites. Start limiting visas to muslims, one dies one comes in[if needed].cab drivers need not apply. The troops in korea will move to our DMZ tx, ca nm, az.Build more ICBM silos, Double the nuclear submarine fleet, and quit building those aircraft carriers, those are not defensive weapons.
Aircraft carriers were the very first defensive weapons to enter the Persian Gulf during Desert Storm and the war in Afghanistan. I think a total of ten were sent at one time. The aircraft on those carriers are bombers and they, unlike submarines, are not limited to water. When those jets take to the air, there is a whole lot more to see and do.Lets move all our s--- to kuwait, load it up and bring it home. I think you have been watching too much tv. Why did you even entertain the idea of Korean troops moving to "our" DMZ, Texas, California, New Mexico, and Arizona, which just happens to be states that border with Mexico? We still have our own butt-kicking military. The wars that are being fought now are not like WWI & WWII; they are much more sophisticated. If the US enters another war within the next ten years, I believe it will be with Iran, Syria, or Turkey. Pakistan isn't entirely off the list because they said yesterday that if the USA gets into another war, they won't help us out. I guess there will be no need since they no longer have to hide bin Lauden.
Montana and Wyoming have plenty of ICBM silos and the mountains are stuffed with missiles that probably will never be used; I'm sure they are not the only states. My friend's husband has been disarming nuclear warheads for the past ten years because they have been declared obsolete.
Why do we NEED to go war?Yes I didn'y mention afganistan, that one was necessary. For a peacefull nation, how come we have been fighting almost continually since 1950? And what the hell have we won?Want to take a guess who.s the worlds biggest arms merchant? And in most caSES, WE SELL AT A LOSS.Not the companys making the stuff, they have made billions, and its almost all TAX PAYERS who wind up footing the bill. Some of you guys don,t remember Eisenhauer, what were his parting comments?
Maybe before the election,
but if not,
and Ron Paul is not elected,
The troops will most likely be sent to Iran.
As far as the present wars the reason is we were attacked. Some don't agree with the wars some do. Either way bad folks are dying and maybe that's enough to keep some innocent folks here and abroad safe. Why do we NEED to go war?Yes I didn'y mention afganistan, that one was necessary. For a peacefull nation, how come we have been fighting almost continually since 1950? kygorski, if you argue against going to war, you and I can find some common ground. But the way to peace is not for America to weaken itself as you propose. Unless that part of your post was sarcasm, too? I mean really, carriers not defensive? Just look at WWII. had the carrier fleet been in Pearl when it was attacked, that would have been a different war, possibly with a different outcome.
Some very bright people have said" war is the failure of diplomacy" What did we accomplish? The only way we could sell autos in Europe, was to build factorys in collaberation with their auto makers. Same with Japan, did we lose?We destroyed them, and rebuilt them, who won?We wanted free elections in Lebanon, what happened, pro muslim government. There has been only one nation that ever tried to invade us. England. Villia made several raids, and was dealt with. In history, armies that invaded usually brought back plunder.Wars are also fought for economic gain, where were either of those two in Iraq? We instituted the Monroe doctrine to stop colonization of south america. Do ALL the south americans love us for that?Tunis is having elections today, odds are it may be a theocacy that is the big winner. How does that help us? We preach democracy, but look at how a small group of wealkthy contributors has dead locked the government. No One Loves Policemen.
Its what we didn't lose...our freedom, our way of life, and our home.
We haven't attacked anbody who didn't hit us or our allies first.
An yes sir, if you ask me, I'd rather go fight in someone else's living room, and destroy their home in the process, rather than wait for them to kick in my front door. It makes such a mess of the carpets.

We did. And diplomacy is keeping it that way. We kill dictators and terrorists who inspire their people to attack us. We don't punish nations, just leaders and their followers.
Since WWII, Germany and Japan, both rebuilt, and both stay at home to play.
North Korea talks alot, but doesn't invade. Hasn't been a fight in Vietnam has there? Russia has attacked no one, neither China. We never fought them, and them and us both know why..diplomacy and lunacy.

I think its time for most of our folks to come home. I think the tone has been set. I think there's folks out there who realize, 4 airplanes in one day in 2001, has gotten them a world of hurt over the passed 10 years. And it came at a price as it always does to us. Nobody said freedom was free.

Thats great research Bob, how many radical muslims are left? This is a wackamole game, our actions are breeding them.I dont want to weaken our country, I want our government to make a clear direct statement, that terrorism against us will result major retaliation. AND NO REBUILDING.This is getting stupid, now were talking tough with syriam they are violating human rights. Syria. We dont do that? So far killing what they call disenters. They are scum, trouble makers. We dont have those? And for your information, this with drawel date was made by the PAST administration. Nobahma is right, if there is no SOFA agreement, pull our troops.
