    ohio river question?

I don't get to fish it very often, and when I do I really enjoy it. I may get to fish it this weekend. could anyone tell what the water condition will be like this weekend. it's a 3 hour drive for me, so if it's going to be muddy, I wont drag my boat that far. thanks in advance for any info.

    Re: ohio river question?

Fished Bck creek yesterday and did ok. If you don't know where Buck creek is it is across the river from Brandenburg Ky. The creek was pretty muddy for about the first 8th of a mile but got more and more clear the further I went. Near the back it was almost too clear, but that will change as the river rises and pushes the mud further up the river. I ended up with 5 in the boat and missed 4 others, all bites came on a black buzz or topwater frog. Water temps went from 57 to 52 degrees. Good luck

I was planning on putting in at the new albany ramp, and catching your biggest pet. Doug showed me the hole were you feed them, to keep them around. all I want is to get my fishing line stretched, and a good close up photo and I'll put her back in your feeding hole. you said the river was risen, how high is it, and how muddy is it. thanks for the info.
