It's my understanding that the bimbo didn't go through any hassles at all. She was ALREADY on food stamps when she won the lottery...which makes me ask the question: "If a person can't afford to buy food then how the heck can they afford to buy a lottery ticket?"

Tell you all what else really burns my britches...standing in line at the gocery and being behind someone using their little food stamp card while talking on a cell phone....once again, if you're on food stamps how can you afford a cell phone?

When applying for food stamps if there's a question anywhere on the application that asks for a phone number the person can be reached at and they give a cell phone number in response, that should be an automatic clue to turn the applicant down in my opinion. I don't know, maybe I'm being to critical.

Naw Tim not critical enough......they should also be drug tested once in a while. The gubment has made it to comfortable (in many cases) to be on assistance. This turd was just another case of it. It's also a shining example of what's to come if obumacare stays in place. It will be just another gubment program that gets abused.

This has nothing to do with politics. I was refering to HUMANITY when I said "Is this what the world has come to". I don't care about politics because both sides are out for Number 1 and don't care about the rest of us. Until they get rid of the Parties, get rid of these idiots voting down Party Lines and let the leaders that are voted into Congress and The House listen to those that voted them in and vote accordingly, I will never care about politics. From a political stand, when a Million Dollar Lottery winner with 2 houses and a new car is getting and using Food Stamps and there are kids starving with nothing in Eastern Kentucky alone, THE SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING.

Although I'm not an advocate of doing away with assistance programs, we do a miserable job of policing these programs... Along with lottery tickets and cell phones I would add cigarettes and alcohol to the list and I'm sure there are many other things that folks want but don't need that these folks seem to have routinely... I know of a couple motorcycle riders who get food stamps...If you can afford a motorcycle...............
