I seem to remember the LAST time radicals tried to force Israel's hands. Me thinks Israel kicked some ASS.....

I REALLY care about the area because of the strategic importance, and our alliance with Israel. The current administration has turned their back on Israel, and by doing so, I believe they've given the Opposition there plenty of reasons to "test the water" so to speak.

I only hope we have a president with a SPINE when we actually have to SUPPORT our Israeli friends.

Well...we already know Nobama is spineless. As for Romney...I don't think he has much of a spine either...as far as I know all he has is a thick wallet. I dislike Nobama...I feel like Romney is way out of touch with the common folk of America and I also feel Romney cannot be trusted as far as he can be thrown.

I guess I'm thinking it's gonna be awhile before we see a President with some nads.

How so? If I am not mistaken, he has ordered more drone strikes against Al Quada targets than the last guy. Also taken the fight to other places in the mid east.

He picks and chooses the EASY ROUTE.

The drone strikes are a no brainer.....and very easy to justify. The really big issues......He's chickened out on.

To expand on Geo's "easy route" terminology. Gay marriage...How come Nobama caved in and said he supports Gay Marriage?

What he should have said to his own children about Gay Marriage is: "Yes kids, I understand some of your friends in school have same sex parents, but it's not right." Instead, Nobama caves in, takes the easy road (spineless) and seeks to gain more votes by saying: "Yes, Michele and I both support gay marriage." Just another example that show's us that he's in this for himself and NOT the country, which holds true for the majority of politicians these days it seems.

What an idiot...I already know the damage Nobama can do, it worries the day lights out of me to wonder how bad things will get with him again or Romney either one.

    Lord help us...

He has supported gay marriage for a while, just not been real public about it. Biden running his mouth when he shouldn't have forced Obama's hand on that one. Spineless for standing up for it, no. Spineless for not standing up for it previously, yes. Personally, I have no problem if two guys or two girls want to get married.

Neither do I. And neither, it would seem, do a small majority of Americans, as of late, and the trend is toward increasing support and decreasing opposition.

I could careless what people want to do too. But yet at the same time I'm not going to tell everyone it's ok, instead what I would do is tell them to read up on the bible some and figure out what is right and what is wrong. But I'm not the leader of the country either, setting the examples, standing up for In God We Trust and everything else...in my opinion it somehow seems to puts things in a bigger or different light when the President announces he "supports" gayness.

Come on Andrew....fess up man, you know Nobama is running this country to hell in a hand basket...and you probably already have a good idea that Romney sure as heck ain't no leader either. People say this year the phrase "lesser of two evils" holds true more than ever before.

Lord help us all...you've blessed this country for a long time, please lead us in the correct direction during the election this fall.

P.S. - Maybe my example of spineless wasn't a good one in this case...even still, Nobama (spineless or not) has done some real damage to this country and he just needs to move on.

People are born gay or they are born straight. Its not like they have an option on this. It would be similar to giving someone crap for having brown eyes, being left handed, having red hair, etc.

No offence, but with all the wrong in the bible (genocide, slavery, insest, abuse of females, etc.), I'll look to other sources for what is right or wrong.

I think I've been quite clear in a number of posts that I was not happy with Obama. Yeah, there are some good things that he has done, but plenty that I do not agree with. I was hoping that the republicans would select a worthwhile candidate. Instead we got Romney. Yeah, we are screwed.

I don't completely buy that Andrew.

I think folks make choices to be "gay" all the time. If not, then why do people say the are BI? I think you may be pre disposed to the "lifestyle" by genetics, but then people CHOOSE the life.

Just like MURDERS choose to murder.
Just like Pedophiles choose to be sick.

I think people are genetically programmed one way or another, and then choose.

I think someone raised by gay people who may be predisposed to be gay will turn out gay, but if that same person does not carry the characteristics to be gay, NO MATTER how GAY their parents, they will no be gay.

Just the way I see it.

A primary example of this is guys and gals in prison.....they CHOOSE to hookup for experiences due to their situation.....When the get out of prison, I suspect they don't continue that lifestyle. The ones that do continue the "lifestyle" were predisposed to that lifestyle to begin with.

    Geo,

Good point on the prison stuff. Not sure on that one. I know that gays I've talked to in the past have stated that the thought of sex with the opposite sex is repulsive to them. In much the same way a heterosexual would see sex with a member of their own sex as being repulsive. Given the crap that many gays have to endure due to their sexual orientation (e.g., shunned by many, ostracized by family, treated as second class citizens, violence), I cannot see how anyone would chose this for themself. Sure, some gays "choose" to live as heterosexuals to avoid negative repercussions. I just don't see heterosexuals doing the reverse.
