Curtsingers in Danville has them.

I picked up a few at Curtsingers to give them a feel & they really felt good & balanced & very light. I looked around the net for what few reviews that could be found for the most part sounded good. However there were some that said they were as bad about breakage as the original Carrot Stix. I know they sure felt good in hand though, but the reviews have me a little sceptacle now. Anyone have first hand experience that is pretty hard on their gear ???
I picked up the halo twight 7'6" Med Heavy at Dixie Marine, in cincy area it felt nice. $139 bucks good warrenty. Felt alittle heavy compared to veritas and wild black carrot stick. Felt like the skeet reese heavy cover but it's only 9o bucks. Like the visual look in hand, the red handle is super nice.
But with big sale coming this weekend at BPS and the deals going, I'm going to say no to halo this yr.
I ended up buying powell diesels, and they are sweet for 69 dollars.
Aren't they the ones with no warranty ???
I called Halo & talked to them, but ended up staying with Shimano for my two main rods simply because I got a pretty good deal & nobody beats their warranty. I will however pick one up to try this summer as I really don't think breakage will be an issue myself. The local store here said they were the best seller he'd had in a long time & this place sells a lot of gear.

I dont break rods either, take care of my equipment.there is a article with kvd where here talks about rods breakin and pretty sure the word mis use is in there more than once.i have to buy what works for me and after reading many reviews without a single bad one and reading the owner of powell explain the no warranty concept i bought 3.and after recieving them and fishin with them im glad i bought em,gonna buy more.the rod warranty is just like car insurance,we have to pay more for ours because of others carelessness.
I'll definitley be trying one this summer. I did buy my 2 new Shimano Clarus rods for $145.00 shipped to my door & actually had someone quote them just a tad cheaper, but I would have had to drive over an hour to pick them up. I'm not knocking your rods at all, but just feel better having the warranty & only buy rods nowadays with lifetime warranty after a buddy accidently stepped on my favorite flipping stick that I've ever owned. I like Dobyns,Powells, Denali & Shimano. I even like Loomis, but i'm not about to pay what they cost as I absolutley do not think they're worth it. It would be my luck that with no warranty mine would get broken & I just feel better having one as I have broken several rods in the past. Not dissing you rod brand at all. Lots have told me about the Diesel series of rods & they all loved them from the way they talked.
