For the record, the idea about containers was mine.Come on Buzz. Your grandparent's grandparents said the world was going to shixt. People been saying that forever...yet here we are. I personally don't buy into the doom and gloom that is constantly peddled by the media, or one special interest or another. If the all the D and G predictions came true, the planet would be a complete wasteland by now, and we'd all be dead.
Yes, I've been to many buffets, and no, I'm not going bring my own containers to the market for raw food. I don't want to, and hope like heck I never have to. Lazy? I'll own it.
Your ideas about what is good for us may not be the best for us.![]()
And my point about that was all the gubment rules about those from home containers.....
I mean we throw away perfectly good food for a speck of ecoliEat that ****. A little cleanse never hurt anyone.
Later,

E coli would be the least of our concerns if we knew some of the shiy we eat
We bottomed at -2 degrees, with 25 mph winds and a wind chill below -20 degrees. Heat wave today, a 2:50 PM we raged to 18 degrees.
Wish I had fossil fuels heating the house. "All electric" I have learned does not mean all the time.
And OMG go green folks that support all electric, what do you put by your home to prepare for electric power outages, equipment failures, and rolling blakouts? Well OMG, a propane powered or gas powered generator so your GO-GREEN all electrci house has power.
I fiugerd out the strategy. We reduce demand on the power grid by having selected electric customers freeze to death, there by lowering customer demand.
I'm up north where we didnt skip a beat roads are clear now. Only lost power were from the trees hitting lines from the 45+ kt windsWe bottomed at -2 degrees, with 25 mph winds and a wind chill below -20 degrees. Heat wave today, a 2:50 PM we raged to 18 degrees.

Glad you came thru it okay.
another note. Temps here dropped 45 degrees, and with windchill up to 60-65 degrees.
My F150 tires normally are set at 35 psi. In the midst of it, tire pressure light came on and tires whenchecked were at 24 psi each/all 4 that way.
Found out on tire makers sites, 10 deegrees temperaure drop can drop tires air pressure 1-2 lbs.
Check your tires guys!

Well global warming continues. no ice up north when normally we had ice rinks in our yards before christmas. Not even the lakes are close to frozen.
But you know, there are still people who deny it
Weather has been extreme. Storms in recent memory do seem worse. And ya know, I do understand how if the earth warms or cools even slightly weather patterns change. I just can’t sort out what “ is” the norm, since this has been going on for millions of years cyclicly.
As in kid in Pa, I remember odd summers in the 100’s in the 1960’s. And I also recall droughts, or extreme rains, 4 foot snow falls, and some winters where worst we got all year was 6-8 inches.
This earth I think will perpetually evolve. I think mankind has too also. Say in the next 20 years California gets no rain and Arizona gets 5 times more rain. Farming drops in CA and Moves to AZ. CA is a dessert and AZ becomes a green state. Gain and loss, adapt and overcome.
So buy as much KY land as possible, cause when we become ocean front it’s gonna be valuable.
And to be safe buy season tickets to the ark in Williamstown, Kentucky. PS Their website says it’s closed now. Does that mean they are expecting rain?
