Just got back, only boat on the west end of the lake. Got three SMB, on the FNF, and two pull downs. Was wasting time till I just jammed the jig into that garlic paste, and then for some reason, the fish started. didn't need to jiggle the rod, the teeth chattering did all the work for me.

went back today, launched at grider. Nice day to fish, bad day for fishing. BUT did get one, a LMB that would go closeto 7 lbs, why did I break my picture phone. This is the largest LMB I have caught at cumberland, but already have several 7lb plus mounts, so back it went.yes itwas on the FNF

there were two 14 lbs bags weighed in today out of pumpkin creek today. we had one smallmouth and one kentucky and they were on a jerkbait.

were you using the hard plastic suspewn baits or the soft plastic?With the clear water last week, i felt the suspending rouges, just weren't deep enough.Thinking of getting some of those deep diving suspend raps and give them a try.

Real good green fish at Cumberland, good job on the release that Mama will make lot's a babies.

Fished all day Sat in Indian. We had 2 Smallmouth about 17 inches each before 10 am and 3 or 4 more missed pull downs. Once that wind changed and front moved through, we couldn't buy a bite. Tried a Buddy, cranks, and some heavy jigs but the FNF was the only thing that produced a hit.
