OK, I know this will doom me. I've never had a hook inbeded in my flesh. Just the point a couple of times, but never passed the barb.

I guess I've just not gone fishing enough!!!

Had a good fish put two hooks in my hand. One went thru the other all the way to the bend of the treble. Tried fishing with it in my hand did not work. I mashed the barb down on the one that went thru removed with no problem. Tried the line method on the remaining hook it was just to deep. So I sat down on the rod locker and just yanked the hook out. It took two tries get it out. I had to just sit on the deck and regain my strenght kind of white eyed me. I had taken a vacation day and it was only 10:00 in the morning was not going to ruin a good days fishing.

OOOWWWWW! I would much rather have a hook in me (I've had several) than this happen. I took a heavy jig to the forehead last year that about knocked me down - but I can't imagine one to the mouth. I guess I will start wearing a mouthgaurd! lol

Now Col, I could have some fun with that story of getting hit in the head! It can make you a little off center...kinda to the left. Just kidding buddy. Lol..
