I think two might be overkill HOORAH
beep beep
These dang blackbirds are leaving a mess on my driveway and cars I'm gonna have to drop a few and hope they die up in the trees.
=============
Don't know whether you have noticed or not but blackbirds seem to have a "scout/leader" of sorts. It's always a big male (I know you're not going to check for his sex); he will be a larger than the rest and appears to be braver and more stubborn than the flock. He squawks louder and they seem to follow him. If you can kill him, you will create a commotion with the flock and they will leave for several days.
Catch a time when the tree is full of them, just before dark, and turn loose a load of squirrel shot and kill about a dozen. lol
When we were children, didn't we sing a song about "Blackbird Pie?" See if you can find your old recipe. lol
LOL....Before anyone has a hissy about my .38 hollow points...I put the two rounds right in front of the dog as he was sitting in my yard just off my porch where he had chased me...lol. The noise and the dirt kicked up in his face was more than enough to send him packing...of course I will say that if the on purpose near misses had not done the trick I would not have hesitated to put a third round right between his eyes. Nobody gets between me and my boat...LOL.
